In 2013, the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and the Chhattisgarh State Government formed the Dr. SPM International Institute of Information Technology in Naya, Raipur. The institute provides Ph.D. and B.Tech programs in a number of fields.

Candidates must have passed the HSC exam with PCM as a required subject in order to be admitted to the B.Tech program. Based on their JEE Main scores and JoSAA counseling, shortlisted students will be assigned seats.

The candidate must have earned at least 50% of the possible points in the Higher Secondary Examinations, which included mathematics and physics as required courses.


Selection Process

Admissions will be determined on JEE Main results. However, JoSAA counseling will be used to determine seat availability in both of the institute's courses.

The counseling will take place at the level of the institute. Both forms must be completed independently.
