Banda University of Agriculture and Technology UG, PG Admission 2024: Form Last Date,Fees, Eligibility

The first agricultural university in the Bundelkhand region, Banda University of Agriculture and Technology (BUAT), provides UG and PG courses in home science, forestry, agriculture, and horticulture.

Merit and entry are the criteria for admission.

• Students wishing to pursue a B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry (H) must have completed their 10+2 examinations with Agriculture Science as a required subject. UPCATET qualifying as well.
• Applications for the M.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry program must have a B.Sc. in Agriculture or a B.Sc. (H) in addition to UPCATET results.
• Applicants for a B.Sc. in Home Science must have taken courses in PCM/PCB or Home Science. To be eligible for admission, they must also submit their UPCATET results.
• Admission to the M.Sc. program is also available to students who meet the requirements for the CUSAT.
• Entrance to all BUAT programs requires completion of English as a required course.

Students who qualify for UPCATET entry must show up for counseling. They have to bring the required paperwork and confirmation of identity. Based on final scores and preference for subject and school, seats will be distributed.

Selection Standards

The selection of students will be determined by their UPCATET scores.

Approximately seven seats are set aside for applicants selected based on the results of the ICAR All India Test.

At least 50% of the total score for the B.Sc. Ag. (Hons.)/B.Sc. Ag. (Ag.)/10+2+4-year degree, as well as proficiency in English, must be met in order to be cleared.
