The University is a significant affiliating university in the Coimbatore region, with various colleges and institutes under its umbrella. At the undergraduate level, the Coimbatore University campus offers a B.E program with four electives. Aside from the B.E course, the University also offers an M.E course with five electives.
Anna University Coimbatore (AURCC) accepts applications for both B.E and M.E courses online at http://www.aurcc.ac.in/.

A valid TNEA score is the selection criteria for B.E entrance, while a valid TANCET score is required for admission to the M.E program.

Candidates seeking admission to full-time B.E degree programmes must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Passed a higher secondary or 10+2 exam from a recognized board/university with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for backward classes and Muslims, 40% for SC/ST/MBC/DNC).

Selection criteria

Candidates seeking admission to full-time M.E./M.Tech degree programmes must meet the following qualifying requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for restricted categories).
  • Must have taken the qualifying admission exam, TANCET.

MBA Admissions

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements in order to be considered for admission to full-time MBA programs:

  • A bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited university with a minimum of 50% overall (45% for students in reserved categories).

Selection criteria

Admissions are determined solely by the candidate's performance on the TANCET 2023 qualifying entrance exam. Based on TANCET counseling, which has the following procedures, students are admitted:
