The Karnataka government announced the trifurcation of the former Bangalore University in 2015, creating Bengaluru North University. BNU Karnataka is situated in the Karnataka city of Tamaka, at the Sri Devaraj Urs extension.
Full-time postgraduate programs in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Education are available at BNU Karnataka, which is affiliated with UGC.

Eligibility criteria MCom

• Applicants who have successfully completed the three-year Bangalore University or any other university deemed comparable B.Com./B.B.M. degree examination.
• In the aggregate, the candidate must receive at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/Category) in the subjects of commerce.

Selection criteria 

• The counseling process will be used to determine admission, which will be determined by academic merit and degree.
• It is required that the candidate be present during counseling.
• The candidate has the choice of selecting a certain course, department, or college from the available seats based on their merit list and reservation.

BNU M.Ed Admission

Institute has MEd program of 2 years. Candidates who have done BEd can apply for this course. Details are provided regarding this course.

MEd eligibility criteria

•  A bachelor's degree holder from any university who has completed the following programs with a 50% overall: B.Ed, B.A., and
• B.Ed candidates may be admitted to the course if they have earned at least 50% of the possible points.
• Applicants are released from the aforementioned qualifying requirement if they are assigned to the course by the Karnataka government.

Selection criteria
