Gurugram University Admissions 2024-25

30 courses are available at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Gurugram University in 7 departments. In the UG sector, B.Pharm, BPT, and B.Tech are available. It offers M.Pharm, MPT, M.Sc., M.Com, MA, and MBA under the PG domain. The university also offers Ph.D. programs in five disciplines and PG Diplomas in pharmacy and law. At Gurugram University, the entire application procedure is conducted online. Applicants can apply for admission by going to the university's official website.

  1. A minimum of 50% in required subjects (PCM/PCB) in 10+2 is required for programs such as B.Pharma, while a minimum of 55% in a Diploma in Pharmacy is required for B.Pharma (LEET).
  2. The applicant must have at least 50% of their 1+2 grades from any recognized Board in order to be considered for programs like B.PT.
  3. At least 50% of the marks in PG courses, such as MA (English), must come from a recognized institution, and English must be a core subject.
  4. A graduation degree in the scientific stream is required for the M.Sc. (Neuroscience) program.
  5. A candidate must have passed their 10+2 science background exam from any Board in order to be eligible for a B.Tech.
    Scorecards and ranks from the Gurugram University Entrance Exam are used to choose students for various UG and PG degrees.
  6. For some courses, admission is determined by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, criteria.
  7. Admission to Ph.D. programs is determined by a university entrance exam and an interview phase.
  8. Those who have passed the Ph.D. Entrance Test and have a valid score from the UGC, CSIR-JRF, NET, Teacher Fellowship, Inspire Fellow, GATE, or GPA are required to attend the interview round immediately.
  9. The exempt individuals may also take the Ph.D. Entrance Exam to increase their weights.

Admission Criteria

Online counseling, which will be provided by Haryana State Technical Education, will be used to determine admission to the second-year B.Pharm. and B.Pharm. (LEET) programs.
Regular mode courses in B.Pharm and BPT are available for four years.
B.Pharm LEET lasts for three years.
Entry requirements for BPT and B.Pharm courses are 60 each, whereas the LEET for B.Pharm is 6.

Admission in gurugram university

Students will be admitted to the majority of Gurugram University's UG and PG programs in 2024 on the basis of merit and their passing exam results. However, entrance to schools like as BPharm and MPharm is decided by GPAT scores and online counseling administered by HSTES.
The institution administers an internal entrance exam for admission to Ph.D. programs. On the other hand, those who have passed the CSIR NET or UGC NET are disqualified from sitting the internal admission exam.

3 types of acholarships are available at Gurugram university.

First Scholarship

Complete Education Concessions may be awarded, up to 10% of the intake in hard and genuine circumstances, to worthy students who meet the following requirements on the recommendation of the Department Chairperson and with the Vice Chancellor's approval: -

  1. If a student's family earns less than 2.5 lakh rupees per year, they must present a valid income certificate or affidavit.
  2. Whose attendance is at least 75% on the day the application is recommended
  3. who has passed every previous test for the relevant course.
  4. whose parent died in the course of the session.

Scholarship No. 2

The following accommodations are offered to spouses or children of employees of Gurugram University who die while wearing a harness:

  1. Discount on the total cost of tuition.
  2. A reduction in the development fee of three-fourths (%).

Third Scholarship

  1. Students who work for the university and their dependents (sons, daughters, siblings, sisters, and spouses who are/are not working and who are/are totally dependent on him/her and live with him/her) may be eligible for a 50% discount on all
  2. programs (with the exception of PhD programs) in the university teaching departments.
  3. Parents with only female children receive a 50% tuition cost waiver at the U.G. and P.G. levels.
  4. excluding students who lost both parents to the COVID pandemic and applicants in the BPL category from paying the entire fee.
