The following fields are offered at the diploma, undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate levels by Sardar Patel University: engineering, science, humanities and social sciences, teaching and education, beauty and fitness, hospitality & travel, medicine & health sciences, mass communication & media, IT & software, design, arts, business & management studies, and accounting & commerce.

The university provides six specialties for PGDCA, fashion design, hotel management, pharmacy, yoga, and diploma in engineering at the diploma level. SPC provides undergraduate programs in BBA, BCA, B.Tech, B.Sc. (Hons), B.Com. (Hons), and nine specialties. PG courses in M.Sc., MA, M.Com., and MBA are available.

In addition, SPU provides PhD programs in the following fields: education, pharmaceutical sciences, commerce, management, engineering and technology, life sciences, mathematics and computer application, social science and humanities, and applied sciences.

• Applications for UG level programs are accepted from students who have passed their 10+2 exam from an accredited board.
• Students who wish to enroll in the B.Tech program must have passed the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) and finished their 10+2 with PCM.
• Applicants for the Diploma in Engineering program will be accepted based on their performance in the class 10 or 10+2 level exams.
• Candidates for the M.Tech program must have completed a BE or B. Tech course in a relevant discipline with at least 50% of the required points.
• The completion of graduation in a relevant discipline is a prerequisite for admission to further postgraduate programs.
• A doctoral program in Ph.D. is available at SPU. Admission to the Ph.D. program is determined by an All India Entrance Examination, which consists of a written exam and an interview.

In 2018, Sardar Patel University (SPU) in Madhya Pradesh was founded with the approval of the UGC. The university is connected to both PCI and AICTE. SPU is situated in Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat city at Sardar Patel Knowledge City, which is on Waraseoni Road close to Dongariya.

Applications for admission to the doctorate program are invited by the university. For entrance to the course, students with postgraduate degrees in the relevant fields may apply. The following specializations are offered in the Ph.D. program:

Qualifications for Eligibility
A applicant must have a Master's degree in a related field and receive at least 55 percent of the possible points (50 percent for candidates from restricted categories, such as SC, ST, OBC, and SPECIALLY ABLED candidates, as well as candidates applying under the Professional category), or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale. 5% exemption from the minimum grades required for candidates who are SC, ST, OBC, or specially abled.

Selection process

• Candidates who pass the NET, JRF, or UGC exams, or their equivalents, will be enrolled in the academic Ph.D. program.
• The list of chosen applicants will be posted on the official website and an interview invitation will be sent out.
• It is required of you to write a 3000–4000 word research proposal document detailing the research you plan to conduct.
• Those that are chosen will need to participate in a personal interview as well as a group discussion.
• On the appropriate date, selected candidates may take admission.
• According to Madhya Pradesh government guidelines, seats will be allotted, with half going to open categories and the remaining half going to reserved categories. Any seats in the reserved categories that are not full will be moved to the open category.
