Admission
Gujarat Biotechnology University is currently conducting admissions for the year 2024. The university offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs, with the M.Sc. courses being offered in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh, UK. As part of this collaboration, 25 students from each batch will undergo a training campaign at the University of Edinburgh, with the expenses covered by Gujarat Biotechnology University.
For the M.Sc. program, there are a total of 100 seats available, with 20 seats allocated for each specialization. Students enrolled in the M.Sc. program receive a monthly stipend of INR 5,000, along with partial support of INR 5,000 towards hostel accommodation costs. Selection for these programs is based on a combination of merit obtained in the qualifying examination (weighted at 70%) and a personal assessment (weighted at 30%).
