Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics offers a comprehensive curriculum covering major mathematical fields, adhering to the UGC CBCS model. Emphasizing active participation in academic events, we initiated a Ph.D. program in 2020 for high-quality research. Our goal is to guide students from acquiring mathematical knowledge to gaining wisdom in life.
Department of Library and Information Science:
Establishment: The Department of Library and Information Science was founded in 2016.
Undergraduate Program: The department began with a one-year Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science (BLISc) with an intake capacity of fifty.
Postgraduate Program: In 2020, it introduced a one-year Master Degree program in Library and Information Science (MLISc) with a current intake capacity of thirty.
Focus Area: The primary focus is on training students in both traditional and modern library systems, equipping them with the necessary knowledge to handle various information tools.
Curriculum Design: All courses are meticulously designed following the UGC CBCS (Credit based Choice System) model, offering substantial potential in research fields.
Research Opportunities: The curriculum is structured to support research aspirations, allowing students to build their careers in research.

Established in the year 2022, the Department of History aims to unravel the rich history and culture of India and the world, with a specific emphasis on the regional history of Northeast India, especially Tripura. Operating in self-finance mode, the program is designed to provide comprehensive training in various historical aspects from ancient to modern times, covering Historiography, Post-Independent India, Mahatma Gandhi, Ecology & Environment, and the Contemporary World.
