Academic Year at the Directorate of Distance Education runs from 1st July to
30th June, with two semesters – JULY Session (July-December) and JANUARY
Session (January-June).

Criteria:
For
programs requiring a degree as the basic qualification, only candidates who
have passed the qualifying examination under the patterns of 10+2+3, 11+2+2, or
11+1+3 years are eligible. Direct U.G. / P.G. Degrees obtained through OUS are
not accepted. Degrees from unrecognized Universities/Colleges/Institutes by the
University Grants Commission are not eligible. Students must complete the
program within 3 years for P.G. / U.G. (Theory and Practical / Project) from
the year of completion of the study period.

living near any Learner Support Centre (LSC) can opt for Spot Admission. Direct
admission for all programs is possible at the LSC. Candidates must submit
filled applications along with the required documents in person for spot
admission.

to the Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University. After admission
confirmation, the signed identity card and original certificates will be
