Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing UG, PG Admission 2024: Form Last Date,Fees, Eligibility

The Jabalpur-based Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) was founded in 2005 as an independent university. Admissions are available for four undergraduate, five graduate, and seven doctorate programmes at IIITDM Jabalpur. Along with several specialisations, it offers B.Tech, B.Des, M.Tech, M.Des, and Ph.D. degrees.

Applicants must pass both the JEE Main and the UCEED exams in order to be considered for admission to the IIITDM B.Tech and B.Des programmes. Additionally, they need to be in their last year of high school or have already completed it.

Applicants must hold a relevant bachelor's degree, pass the CEED entrance test and the GATE for M.Tech programmes at IIITDM, and be eligible for admission.

On the other hand, in order to be considered for admission to a Ph.D. programme, applicants must have a Master's degree that is relevant and either a GATE or UGC-NET (JRF) score. Students studying a B.Tech may choose to go for a Ph.D. straight, provided they meet all the requirements.

Merit cum Means Scholarship recipients, whose parents earns below INR 4 lakhs annually, are eligible for full tuition reimbursement. Additionally, they receive a monthly allowance of INR 1,000.

The highest CTC offered at IIITDM Jabalpur was extraordinary 15 LPA, which was placed during the most recent admission sessions. Approximately 35 students received offers of on-campus placements, out of the 173 offers given for the most recent academic term.

B.Tech & B.Des Admissiom at Universtiy

The Undergraduate Combined Entrance Examination (UCEED) for B.Des and the Centralised Admission Examination (CEA) for B.Tech are used for admissions, which happen in July. Students can enrol in either of these full-time degree programmes at IIITDM Jabalpur.

B.Tech & B.Des. Admission Process of University

While candidates for B.Des must pass UCEED, students wishing to apply for admission to the B.Tech programme must qualify for JEE Mains. The admissions procedure for both the B.Tech and B.Des programmes is covered in the section that follows.
 

JEE Mains 2024

The fee of applying to take this exam varies depending on the type of candidate. For the general category, there is an application fee of INR 325. The necessary requirements and registration procedure for JEE Mains are explained in the section that follows.

Document Required

• Scanned, current JPG/JPEG photo in colour or black and white with distinct contrast. The ideal size is between 10 and 200 kilobytes.
• Signed scan in JPG or JPEG format. The ideal size is between 4 and 30 kb.
• Applications containing hazy photos will not be accepted. 

How Do I Register In?

• Go to JEE Main's official website and select "Fill Online Application Form."
• Create an account by providing your personal information to create a password and user ID.
• Once the registration data are submitted, an application number will be produced.
• Address, mobile number, and personal information are required on the form.
• To get access to the application in the future, you can customise your password and security question.
• Use the same user ID and password that you created to log in and submit the application.

UCEED 2024

Only those who fulfil the requirements of having completed high school, not having taken the test more than twice, and not born before October 1, 1995, are eligible to register. To learn about the documents needed upon registration, read the section that follows.

M.Tech & M.Des Admission at University

M.Tech & M.Des Admission Process of University

To be admitted to the M.Tech programme, students must be CEED qualified and GATE qualified.

GATE 2024

Students who wish to apply for a master's or doctoral programme must complete the GATE. The registration process and the documentation requirements are explained in the section below.

• Scanned copy of the signature and photo
• Affidavit with photo, signature, date of birth, and residential address that has been verified; Adhaar card, passport, driving licence, PAN card, voter ID, college ID, employee identification card, or other valid photo ID.
• Certificates of Degree, Provisional, and Course Completion.
• A duplicate of the V/VI/VII semester mark sheet.
• Students in their final year must submit a provisional certificate letter in the format provided by the department head, dean, registrar, or home of the institute.
• In the event that a candidate has professional equivalent qualifications, they must submit their mark sheet for Section A of the AMIE in their last year of study.
• Caste, Disability, or PwD certificates (if relevant).
• Applicants must provide the qualifying degree certificate if they are seeking a master's degree or higher degree.

CEED 2024

IIT Bombay administers this exam to applicants for the M.Des programme. Admission to highly selective colleges is not certain for those who only pass the exam. The next details related to registration and the necessary paperwork.

• Scanned copy of diploma or degree certificate (.pdf file) if the course is completed.
• The applicant may submit a copy of the provisional certificate or the final year mark list or the provisional certificate can also upload. 

Ph.D. Admission 2024 at University

The IIITDM Jabalpur Ph.D. programme offers admission in seven different fields of study. The two-year programme requires students to pass any of the national level exams listed below in order to be admitted. A Ph.D. is available in:

Eligibility for Ph.D. at the University

Students must have a master's degree (M.Tech./M.Des./M.Sc./M.A./M.B.A., etc.) and a minimum of 60% or a 6.0 CPI/CGPA (on a scale of 10.00) in order to be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme at IIITDM.

The candidate must also have passed a comparable exam, such as the GATE, CEED, CSIR, UGC-JRF, or NET.
