Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth Admissions 2024-25

In 1968, the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV) was founded. It is situated in Maharashtra's Rahuri. Under MPKV, there are numerous component colleges.
Agriculture-related undergraduate, graduate, doctorate, and certificate programmes are offered by the institution.

  • Applications for UG, PG, and PhD programmes are accepted both offline and online.

B.Tech and BBA Admission 2024 at University

The B.Sc., B.Tech, and BBA are the three undergraduate programmes offered by the university. There are two specialisations available for B.Tech and three for B.Sc.
The undergraduate course application procedure is conducted online.
At Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, the UG courses are selected on the basis of merit. The basis for evaluating students is their prior academic performance.

M.Tech and MBA Admission at University

The university provides three postgraduate programmes: an MBA, an M.Tech, and an M.Sc. with three specialisations. Students may use the online application process to apply for the courses.
Merit in the qualifying test is the basis for selection into the M.Sc. programme.
Candidates must have passed the MCAER-conducted Common Entrance Test (CET) in Agriculture Engineering in order to be admitted to the M.Tech programme.

A valid CMAT, XAT, CAT, or MAT score is required for admission to the MBA programme.

Ph.D. admission at University

The college has a restricted number of seats available for enrollment each year and provides two Ph.D. courses.

To be eligible for a Ph.D. in agriculture, candidates must hold an M.Sc. (Agri.) or M.Sc. (Hort.) from an accredited agriculture university. To be eligible for a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, candidates must hold an M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering.

University Application Procedure

While the application process for UG studies is offline, it is online for graduate programmes and PG courses.
Candidates must apply for admission on the official MCAER website in order to participate in the online procedure. Students should take the following actions:

  • Go to MCAER's official webpage.
  • Click the "Online Application" tab under the "Admissions" section.
  • After selecting the "Apply Now" option, enter all pertinent information in the application form.
  • If you need to make any changes to the application form, click "Save." If all the information is accurate, click "Submit."

applicants must pay the registration cost of INR 600 (INR 300 for applicants in the reserved category) using Challan at State Bank of India branches, or by Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking, in order to finish the application process. Alternatively, candidates may pay the fee with a demand draft (DD) made payable to "Financial Advisor, MCAER, Pune."
Applicants should print the properly completed application form, attach it to all self-attested copies of their relevant documentation, and send it to the following address through mail or courier service:

In addition to properly completed applications, candidates must submit an application fee of INR 600 (INR 300 for SC/ST/OBC candidates) by Net Banking, DD, or Challan at any State Bank of India branch. Please make checks payable to "Financial Advisor, MCAER, Pune" and send them to Pune.

Send a printout of the properly completed application, a recent passport-size photo, and any necessary paperwork to one of the institution's application receipt centres. Applicants must submit the following self-attested documents with an application:

  • Mark sheet or qualifying test grade card
  • College or school (last attended) Leaving Certificate Genuine Certificate in the event that an
  • applicant is accepted under the ICAR quota
  • Certificate of Migration, if relevant
  • Certificate of Domicile or Residential Status
  • Certificate of Caste, if relevant
  • "Non-Creamy Layer Certificate" granted on or after April 1, 2015, or until the application is submitted
  • A "Project Affected Person" certificate from the Maharashtra government's district resettlement officer
  • Security Personnel Certificate from Zilla Sainik Board
  • "No-Objection Certificate" from the Employer in case of Inservice;
  • Certificate of the Freedom Fighter of the Applicant's Parents issued under the signature of the Honourable Prime Minister / Chief Minister of Maharashtra State
  • N.S.S. Certificate issued by the Competent Authority Applicants who are migrants or displaced students from the state of Jammu and Kashmir must presen
  • Certificate from the competent authority, a certificate of handicap (if applicable)
  • Economically backward class (EBC) certificate issued on or after January 1, 2015.

Note: Applicants who completed Agriculture Polytechnic's 10+2 programme are need to submit two forms. One copy should have the Agriculture Polytechnic marks attached, and the second copy should have the marks from the 12th grade.
