Eligibility Criteria for UG Admission

• Candidates for the UG B.E program must have a 12th Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from any recognized board or the CBSE with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or an equivalent. It is required to receive at least 45% for the general category and 40% for the reserved category.
• The State Education Board's GUJCET exam is required for candidates to be admitted to University's B.E. program.
  

Selection Criteria for UG Courses

• A merit list will be created for admission to the undergraduate B.E. program, including 40% of the candidates' score on the GUJCET and 60% of the candidates' marks in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
• The candidate must register online at the GUJCET website in order to receive counseling. Once the application is completed, an online payment of INR 300 is required.
• For 120 minutes in physics and chemistry and 60 minutes in math, the exam will be administered offline. The questions will be multiple-choice (MCQ) with a rating system of +1 for right answers and -0.25 for wrong answers. There are 120 questions in all.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.E./B.Tech is the minimal requirement for admission to the postgraduate M.E. program. It is necessary to have a degree with at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) of marks. A GATE/PGCET score is required in order to be admitted to the M.E. program.
• To appear for the exam, there is no minimum or maximum age requirement.

Selection Standards

• Candidates must fill out the online GATE registration form on the CCMT website with the necessary information.
• The candidate will obtain an enrollment ID after successfully completing the registration process, which they will need to use to fill out the registration form.
• There will be 65 questions in the GATE paper, including multiple-choice questions and numerical-based questions. It lasts for 180 minutes. For multiple-choice questions (1 and 2), there are +1 and +2 marks, and 1/3 and 2/3 negative marking, respectively.
• The syllabus is subject-specific; however, all candidates will take the General Aptitude section.

• Students in their final year must submit a provisional certificate letter in the format provided by the department head, dean, registrar, or home of the institute.
• In case that a candidate has professional equivalent qualifications, they must submit their mark sheet for Section A of the AMIE in their last year of study.

• Applicants must provide the qualifying degree certificate if they would like have a master's degree or higher degree.

CCMT Counseling

Admissions for M.Tech programs are processed by CCMT Counseling as well. On the official website, applicants submit their online applications. The requirements for eligibility are listed below:

Qualifications 

• In order to be considered for the general/unreserved category, applicants must be GATE qualified and have passed their B.E. or B.Tech with a 6.5 CGPA (or 60%) (55% for the reserved category).
• If the relevant institution does not announce the final scores, a provisional certificate is accepted. However, candidates have to submit in their final scores by the deadline.
• Students who acquire the qualifying marks from the prior exam will be given preference over those who apply if they are GATE qualified.

Note: In order to be considered for counseling and admissions, GATE qualifying students must apply through the CCMT website.

University Scholarships

• The top 10 students receive scholarships that vary between INR 25,000 to INR 51,000 depending on their university results.
