Sardar Beant Singh State University, Gurdaspur
The Punjabi government founded Beant College of Engineering & Technology, Gurdaspur, as an independent institution through a registered society. On February 28, 1994, the foundation stone was placed. In 1995 as an independent institution through a registered society. The Department of Technical Education, Government of Punjab, provided the college registration and affiliation with Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. It has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The college's goal is to produce technically qualified professionals who can achieve both domestic and global goals. The college's goal is to establish a work environment that promotes creativity and hard effort for the purpose of wholesome education and knowledge advancement. The college is about 4 kilometers from the bus stop in Gurdaspur.
The engineering programs offered by the college include biotechnology, chemical engineering, computer science and engineering, civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology, and mechanical engineering. At the postgraduate level, students can select from Thermal engineering, Production engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and chemical engineering.
B.Tech Admission 2024
Students interested in engineering may apply for a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree at BCET Gurdaspur. The four-year duration of the course and the candidates' selected specialty determine the total number of admissions.
Admission to different undergraduate specializations is normally made once a year, in June or July, by PTU Jalandhar's Centralized Counseling (affiliating University), or as instructed from time to time by the university/Punjab government, based on the results of the Joint Entrance Examinations-Main (JEE Main), which are administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

M.Tech Admission 2024 at University
The college provides two-year postgraduate Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Science (M.Sc) programs in five distinct disciplines. The type of disciplines selected by the candidates determines the number of seats.
The criteria for admission to M.Tech programs will be on the basis of valid GATE/NET score in the relevant discipline or branch. Candidates without a GATE or NET score may also be considered if seats are still available, in accordance with PTU Jalandhar/Punjab Govt. standards.
