Birla Institute of Technology and Science UG, PG Admission 2024: Form Last Date,Fees, Eligibility

The 180-acre BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa campus was founded in 2004. The Aditya Birla Group is in charge of 4 BITS Pilani campuses, including BITS Goa. It has a NAAC "A" grade for accreditation. Under different disciplines, BITS Goa provides B.E., M.E., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs. The school is well-known for its 8-specialization B.E. program, for which admittance are determined by BITSAT results. Based on BITSAT, the total cutoff for BE is between 209 and 295 points for the general category. First-rank holders from federal and state boards are also granted direct admission to the program of their choosing by the university, despite of their BITSAT results.

At BITS Goa, the average package increased by 32% to INR 30.37 LPA, while the maximum package increased by 35% to INR 60.75 LPA. Among the leading employers were Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and so on. 

Direct admission is an option for those who rank first on the board or first in their science stream with PCM. BITS M.E. program Only those with a B.E. or B.Tech degree in a related discipline are admitted to Goa. If a student passes the GATE or BITS-HD entrance exam, they may be selected.

 Admissions for B.E. 2024 at University

There are two different kinds of requirements to be admitted to BITS Goa's B.E. program:

1. BITSAT: at least 75% in Physics, Chemistry, Maths after passing the 12th exam from an authorized State or Central Board.
2. Direct Admission: State Board Toppers who have the highest PCM aggregate or who are Science stream toppers are granted direct admission, regardless of their BITSAT scores.

BE Cutoff at University

Admissions to the M.E. program at University are based on UG degrees. Only those disciplines that need a relevant UG degree may be taken by students. GATE Scores serve as the basis for the selection procedure. The eligibility requirements for the various disciplines that University offers are listed in the section that follows.

BSc (Computer Science) Online Admission 2024 at University

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science curriculum at BITS Pilani is entirely online. Admissions eligibility and selection process of B.Sc. 

• BSc in Computer Science, Uiversity Eligibiliy: The applicant must have completed their 12th standard in any subject (science, arts, commerce, etc.).
• Candidates who have graduated with a technical diploma from an recognized university or board.
• The applicant must be proficient in both mathematics and English.

 Ph.D. Admission Program at University

In the second semester of the program, applications are invited for admission to BITS Goa's PhD programs. Students who want to pursue research in their area of interest study in these full-time courses. The specializations available in BITS Goa's Ph.D. programs are shown in the following table along with standard selection criteria:

There are three methods to assess if a candidate is qualified for admission to BITS Goa's Ph.D. program. They are listed in the following order:

• Overall 60% on the qualifying exam for M.E., M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA, or M.Phil.
• 60% of the total qualifying in the most recent qualifying exam for B.E., B.Pharm., or M.Sc.
• At least 55% in an M.A. degree is required for admission to Humanities & Social Science. 

University Admission 2024

41 programs in all, including both UG and PG courses, are available at BITS Goa. The BITSAT is an online computer-based test that determines admission to all of BITS Goa's Integrated First Degree programs based on merit.

 The BITS Goa campus offers B.E. Chemical, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mathematics and Computing, and Mechanical Engineering courses. The Integrated First Degree programs to which admissions will be made based on BITSAT scores differ according to the campuses.

Candidates must have passed the 12th standard examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from an accredited central or state board, or its equivalent, in order to be admitted to all UG programs with the exception of B. Pharm. Admission to University for B.E. is provided based on BITSAT scores. 

Performance in the GATE and M.Sc. entrance exams, respectively, determines admission to the M.E. and M.Sc. programs at BITS Goa.
