The Dehradun Institute of Technology was founded by the Unison group in 1998 and authorized by Act No. 10 of the Uttarakhand government. It is a private organization that collaborates with CII, FICCI, and ASSOCHAM India. The Nepal Engineering Council and the UGC, New Delhi, both recognize degrees from DIT University. A part of the Association of Indian Universities is DIT University. Counseling Process for UG and PG in 2024 at University

Candidates with over 95% qualifying marks in their 12th or board toppers are eligible for direct admission to  University. The remaining students will be admitted depending on the counseling that University, Dehradun, conducts. • Pay the registration fee and register using a phone number and email address.
• Refresh the University Registration Form with the updated qualifying marks.
• For UG programs, click "Counseling Form" to upload your grade 10th and 12th transcripts; for PG programs, upload your grade 10th and 12th transcripts along with your graduation certificate.
• Upload your certificate of residency, if any, from the UK or the Himalayas.
• In case that the final year mark sheet is not obtained, submit your grades from the previous year or semester for postgraduate programs.

MBA and M.Tech Admissions 2024 at University

The university provides MBA and M.Tech courses at the PG level with a range of disciplines. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is the minimal requirement for eligibility. Examinees who meet the GATE/NET requirements are given priority for admission to M.Tech programs. GD and PI are used after CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, UKSEE, and DUET scores are used to select MBA candidates. The following details the course's duration and eligibility requirements:

M.Sc., MCA, M.Pharm , M.Des. Admission at University

PG programs in M.Pharm., M.Sc., MCA, and M.Des are also offered by University. All PG courses require a bachelor's degree to be admitted. The UKSEE, DUET, and GPAT tests determine admission to M.Pharm programs. Candidates are assessed based on their performance in the qualifying test or UKSEE score for admission to the M.Sc. program. Merit-based admission to MCA and M.Des programs is the only requirement.

Admission to Ph.D. 2024 at University

The institution provides a Ph.D. program at the doctoral level to students who have completed relevant master's degrees and gained at least 55% of their marks overall. For admission, a valid GATE, SLET, or NET score is needed. The university also administers the DUET exam to applicants who are neither GATE, SLET, or NET qualified. Minimum of 55% grades or a CGPA of at least 6 in a master's program, or successful completion of merit-based counseling on the DUET-2023 exam followed by a personal interview. 

Steps to apply for University

Step 1: Go to DIT University's official website.

Step 2: Pay the non-refundable registration fee.

Step 3: Send a formal request a "Conditional Admission Offer," along with any required documentation.

Step 4: The candidate must deposit the admission fee using Net Banking, a credit card, a debit card, or a demand draft if the "Conditional Admission Offer" is accepted. It is required of applicants to the MBA program that they clear their GD and PI before paying the application fee.

Step 5: Sending an email with a "Conditional Admission Offer Letter"

The documentation that follows needs to be turned in upon registering:

• High School Transcript (for birthdate)

PG Scholarships for University

The institution provides Additional Scholarships for New Students (for first-year PG students), Merit-Based Scholarships, the Uttrakhand State Scholarship Policy, and Scholarships based on Sports as offered to UG students for postgraduate students.

Extra Scholarship for Upcoming Students -

1.) Siblings of current students or alumni are eligible for a scholarship of 5% of tuition fees upon submitting the appropriate paperwork:

• The siblings' valid photo ID proof, such as their university ID card or Aadhaar, should bear their parent's name.
• A copy of the degree certificate that the sibling received from DIT or DITU, if relevant
