Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology UG, PG Admission 2024: Form Last Date,Fees, Eligibility

According to both the NIRF and Edurand rankings, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET), Guna is placed 86th and 61st, respectively, out of the top 100 universities in India. According to Edurand ranking, the institute is the "Best Private Engineering University" in Madhya Pradesh.

With the help of reputable recruiters like SDE, Infosys, Delhivery, Zeta, Flipkart, Amazon, and many more, the institute just wrapped up its 2024 placement drive. Mercary offered the largest wage package, which was INR 30 LPA. University have a Grade `A` NAAC accrediated won praise for its carbon-free campus. The Madhya Pradesh government has awarded JUET Guna the title of "Excellent University Award" by the Private University Regulatory Commission. The university's three departments provide a range of degree programs.

B.Tech and M.Tech specialties, three B.Sc. and M.Sc. specializations, and 9 Ph.D. specializations are available.  These programs have entrance and merit-based admissions. The following programs are eligible:

1. B.Tech: Must have qualified for JEE Main and completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
2. M.Tech: Students must be GATE qualified and have passed their B.E or B.Tech in a related discipline.
3. Ph.D.: To immediately attend the interview, candidates must hold a master's degree that is appropriate and be eligible for SET, UGC-NET, and JRF.

About 400 students were offered on-campus placements for the most recent academic session by 42 companies that visited the JUET Guna campus. 41 LPA was the maximum CTC that was provided.

Admission to B.Tech in 2024 at University

• 50% of the seats are available for admission based on the All India Rank of JEE Main 2021 for the first and second attempts. While the remaining 50% of seats are distributed according to merit and 12th results.
• Candidates must submit their JEE Main results using the admissions portal on the JUET website.
• Candidates will receive seats at the counseling session and be invited to participate based on their submitted scores.
• On the day of counseling, the candidate is required to bring a set of photocopies along with the original documents.
• The candidate has to  receive the acknowledgement slip and pay the entire admission fees within the specified time. The institute will provide the updated schedule for when classes will start.
• On the basis of merit, students enrolling with their 10+2 grades and Lateral Entry candidates without a JEE Main score would be admitted.
• In other words, individuals with higher 10+2 exam scores will have a better chance of being admitted to JUET. 

Steps to apply for B.Tech

Documents Required

• Scanned, current JPG/JPEG photo coloured or black and white with distinct contrast. The ideal size is between 10 and 200 kilobytes.
• Signed scan in JPG or JPEG format. The ideal size is between 4kb and 30 kb.
• Applications containing blurred photos will not be accepted.

• Go to JEE Main's official website and select "Fill Online Application Form."
• Create an account by providing your personal information to create a password and user ID.
• Once the registration data are submitted, an application number will be produced.

Admission to B.Sc. (Honors) 2024 at University

B.Sc. (Hons.) Qualifications at University

The program requires 12th passed from an approved board as a minimum requirement for eligibility. Senior high school students in their 12th year are eligible to apply as well.

Criteria for University B.Sc. (Honors) Selection Criteria

• Merit will be the determining factor in selection.
• When completing the application, candidates must submit their 12th results.
• Selection will be done on the basis of the results.
• Each selected candidate will receive an update on their status.
• After the evaluation, they must bring their original documentation and pay the admission fees.

M.Tech Eligibility at University

• Candidates must have achieved at least a 60% aggregate in their B.E. or B.Tech in a related field. The degree ought to have been acquired from an accredited board.
• To be eligible for admission, you must have a valid GATE or PGCET score card. 

M.Tech Requirements for Selection

• The website's online application portal is where candidates must submit their test results.
• The candidates who submit their scores will be selected for admission.
• They will receive a call for counseling, during which the process of filling seats will take place according to the courses they have selected.
• Students who are sponsored for their particular industries must have a work experience letter demonstrating a minimum of two years of work experience. It is required to bring the legitimate GATE/PGCET score card along with the original academic and work experience related documentation.

Admission to M.Sc. 2024 at University

Admission to University M.Sc. program is restricted to a select few specializations. Please refer to the following table for further details regarding the prerequisites for admission.

Candidates would be eligible for the program if they hold a B.Sc. in relevant topics. Individuals who are in their last year of study may also apply, but they have to turn in the original documents by the cutoff. 

Selection Criteria for M.Sc Course

• Candidates who score higher than the designated cutoff percentage for each topic will be contacted for the admissions process.
• In order to reserve a spot for admission, candidates must pay the entrance fee on the day of counseling.

Ph.D. Admission at University

University accepts applications for its Ph.D. program from both engineering and science specializations. The general eligibility requirements are briefly described in the table, after which subject-specific eligibility requirements are provided.

To be eligible for admission to programs in the sciences, students need to possess a relevant M.Sc., M.E., or M.Tech degree.

• Chemistry and Math

The university will administer a Ph.D. entrance exam to candidates, who will then have a personal interview. Candidates will be questioned about their areas of interest in both research and employment throughout the interview.

Priority will be given to students with qualified GATE/SLET/UGC/CSIR (JRF) or UGC qualifications. Candidates must meet a minimum criterion of work experience in order to be eligible for the program.

The candidate will be accepted into the program based on how well they performed in the interview, on the written exam, and on their overall prior academic record.
