Manav Rachna University, Faridabad

According to the MHRD's NIRF India Rankings 2020, Manav Rachna University (MRU), Faridabad is placed 151-200 (University) and 174th (Engineering).  University provides 3-year B.Tech. Lateral entry programs in 4 specializations in addition to 4-year full-time B.Tech. programs. At least 60% in 12th is needed to apply for a B.Tech program, while 50% is needed to be admitted through Lateral Entry.

The institution will use a genuine score from JEE Main, SAT, Uni Gauge E, or MRNAT to select candidates for the B.Tech program.

Important points

• The National Uni-GAUGE-E Exam is administered by the ERA Foundation.
• The minimal qualifying score for the Lateral Entry B.Tech program is 50% in the diploma or B.Sc. program with mathematics as one of the courses in the 10+2 curriculum.

 B.Sc., BBA, B.Ed & Integrated LL.B Admission 2024 at University

At the UG level, University provides 3-year B.Sc., BBA, and integrated B.Ed. degrees in addition to 5-year LL.B. programs.

Applying to these programs requires at least a 50% grade point average in a relevant discipline during your 12th Class. Admission to the BBA and B.Sc. programs is contingent upon having a valid MRNAT or SAT score, whilst the B.Ed. program exclusively accepts MRNAT scores.

 MA, M.Sc., M.Tech. Admission 2024 at University

PG programs in 2 years for M.Tech, M.Sc., and LL.M. in a variety of specializations are available at University.

Applications for graduate programs (M.Sc. and LL.M.) require at least 50% in their degree, while those for M.Tech programs require at least 50% in their B.Tech degree. The GATE valid score is the basis for M.Tech admissions selection. Entry to M.Sc. and LL.M. programs is determined by MRNAT. 

Note: If there are any vacant seats, they will be filled based on candidates' standing in the qualifying exam.

Admission to Ph.D. 2024 at University

The Ph.D. program at University has 8 concentrations. A Master's degree or an M.Phil. degree with at least 50% of the required credits is the minimum requirement to apply to the course.

The university will conduct a personal interview in addition to a written exam for the purpose of selecting candidates for the course.

Important Points:

3 years is the minimum amount of time that a doctoral thesis can be submitted.

Application Process 2024 at University

Online applications are welcome for admission to Manav Rachna University's various courses. Applicants can apply online at the official website or get an admission brochure at the administrative headquarters, city centers, or Manav Rachna campus. The application form is available for download on the official website for candidates.

A Scratch Card with a covered number is included with the admission document, which will make it easier to submit the application online.

Applicants must adhere to these procedures in order to apply online:

• Have a scanned photo of yourself in a formal attire with a plain background that is 30 x 45 mm in size and has a maximum memory of 80 KB ready on your desktop computer for uploading.

  Make sure all fields are filled in with accurate data.
• Bring two printouts of the completed online application form, which is required for admission when you attend a physical counseling session.
• At the time of application submission, candidates must pay the application cost of INR 1200, which can be done through Net Banking, Credit, Debit cards, or E-wallets.

The reservation criteria of University

 University now adheres to the following reservation policy:

• For all programs and courses, 15% of the seats are set aside for PIOs and NRIs/foreign nationals.
• Of the 85% available seats, 25% are set aside for students from Haryana, with 10% going to Haryana's SC hopefuls.
• For every program, a single merit-quota seat is set aside for Kashmiri migrants.

• A complete tuition fee concession will be offered to 1/5 of the 25%.
• 50% of the 25% will have their fees waived for the first 5%.
• 2/5th of the remaining 25% will receive a 25% fee discount.

Merit Scholarship to Semester Toppers: 

• First position: INR 25,000 or 25% of the tuition fee, whichever is lower.
• 2nd Position : 15% of the tuition fee, or INR 15,000, if less
• Third Position: 10% of the total tuition, or 10,000 Indian rupees, whichever is lower
• Outstanding students receive a research assistantship worth INR 18000–24000 per month, a 50% tuition reduction, and hostel accommodations.
