Located in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, Noorul Islam Centre of Higher Secondary (NICHE) was founded in 1989. University holds 'A' Grade, MHRD, AICTE, and NIRF accreditation from the NAAC.

Admissions are available to UG, PG, and research levels of study through University. The institute provides a B.Tech with 15 specializations, a B.B.A., a B.Sc. with 7 specializations, and a B.Com. at the UG level.

Admission to the B.Tech program is determined by a candidate's JEE Main performance.

A 12th diploma is required for all other UG programs. Merit is the determining factor for admission to the same.

The institute offers an M.Tech, MBA, MCA, MA, M.Sc., and M.Com. under several specializations under the PG domain. GATE and CAT scores are used to determine admission to M.Tech and MBA programs, respectively.

All other PG courses require admission exams to be taken in order to be admitted.

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant topic in order to be eligible for the M.Phil and Ph.D. programs offered by the institute at the research level in several fields.

Admission to B.Tech in 2024 at University

Full-Time B.Tech. courses are available at University in a number of specializations. For 4 years, the program is available in regular mode.

B.E./B.Tech Specializations-

Eligibility Criteria for B.E./B.Tech

• Applicants must have completed class 12th (Physics, Mathematics, and any other subject approved by the CBSE or an equivalent board) with at least 45% in order to be considered for admission.
• To get into a B.Tech program, applicants must pass the entrance exam or JEE Mains.

Selection Criteria

The JEE Mains or NICHE entrance exam results are the primary selection criteria for admission to the B.Tech program.

UG Admissions 2024 at University

UG B.B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. courses are available through NICHE. The minimum requirement for eligibility is passing the 12th exam or an equivalent exam in subjects that are applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

BBA & B.Com

• Applicants for BBA and B.Com programs must have completed their 10+2 (CBSE or any equivalent board) with at least 40% of the possible points.
• To get admitted, candidates have to satisfy the requirements for admission.

B.Sc.

• Candidates must have passed 12th grade or its equivalent in mathematics, chemistry, and physics to be eligible for the B.Sc. (PCM).
• The applicant must have successfully passed 12th in Science (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics)/ Biology with at least 50% Selection Criteria in order to be eligible for a B.Sc. in Biology.

Selection Criteria

The selection process for BBA, B.Com, and B.Sc. programs will be based on entrance exam scores, which will be followed by an interview and class 12 merit.

• Candidates who wish to be considered for admission must have completed their BTECH with at least 45% of the possible points.
• To be admitted to the M.Tech program, candidates must pass the GATE exam or the admission exam.

• The candidate must pass an entrance exam to assess their ability in the relevant UG degree branch in order to be admitted to M.E. or M.Tech courses. The applicant does not need to take the entrance test if they have the results of a GATE/GRE or an exam conducted at the All India Level by the relevant statutory authority.
• Based on their results on the qualifying exam and their performance on the entrance exam, the University will admit students to its M.E./M.Tech programs. Candidates from special classes receive a 5% grade relaxation.

PG courses for MA, M.Sc., and M.Com. are available through PG Admission 2024 University. These courses last for a full 2 years. Having a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in related disciplines is the requirement for eligibility.

M.Sc. is offered under the following specializations-

Eligibility Criteria 

MA & M.Sc

• completed the 12th exam or any other (academic) equivalent test with at least two subjects from the following list (physics, chemistry, commerce, accounting, computer science, and electronics) as required at the plus two level, or any combination of math, business math, and statistics.
• The Candidate must fulfill all requirements set forth by the appropriate legislative authorities with regard to age, physical fitness, the number of attempts, qualifying marks, and admission method.

M.Com

• The primary prerequisite for obtaining an M.Com. degree is graduating from an accredited program in commerce.
• The Candidate must satisfy all requirements set forth by the appropriate legislative authorities with regard to age, physical fitness, the number of attempts, qualifying marks, and admission method.
• Even though the candidate may have passed the qualifying exam mentioned above, he or she still needs to take an entrance exam to gauge their ability in subjects selected by the relevant regulatory authority.

Selection Criteria

• The University will admit candidates to its 5-year M.Sc. Software Engineering program based on their performance in the entrance exam and their grades in the qualifying examination.
• A candidate who satisfies the requirements for a Bachelor of Arts, Humanities, Social Science, or Commerce under the 10+2+3 pattern and has English in Part II approved by the UGC, AICTE, or any other national regulatory body, or any other qualification declared as equivalent thereto by the University's Board of Management (BOM).
• The Candidate must satisfy the requirements set forth by the University's Board of Management (BOM) with regard to age, physical fitness, number of attempts, qualifying marks, and admission mode.

M.Com.: The University will admit students to the M.Com. program based on their performance on the entrance exam and their grades on the qualifying examination.

There are 2 areas in which the MBA is offered: master of business administration (MBA) and Human Resources Management M.B.A.

Qualifications
To be qualified, candidates must graduate with at least 50% of the required credits.
To be admitted, candidates must pass the CAT, MAT, and SAT exams.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates must pass an entrance exam to be considered for admission to the MBA program. The exam has the purpose to assess the candidate's skill and aptitude in areas specified by the relevant statutory authorities.
• The University will admit students to the M.B.A. program based on their performance in the entrance exam, group discussion, and interview, as well as their grades on the qualifying exam.
• If a candidate has passed the entrance exam or has a score from an exam taken at the All India Level by an authorized authority, they do not need to take the CAT, MAT, or SAT.

MCA Admissions 2024 at university

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

• To be qualified, candidates must graduate with at least 50% of the required credits.
• In order to get admitted, candidates must pass the admission exam.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates must pass an entrance exam for MCA admissions, which is intended to assess their level of proficiency as determined by the constituent legislative authority.
• Getting into the M.C.A candidate's performance in the entrance exam and their grades on the qualifying examination will determine their eligibility for a program offered by the university.

Ph.D. & M.Phil. Admissions 2024 at University

University (NICHE) provides various research-level M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses. The minimum requirement for qualifying is a master's degree or an equivalent test with subjects that are applicable.

A Ph.D. degree is offered in the following specializations:

M.Phil: A master's degree with at least 50% marks in a relevant discipline.
Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology: M.E/M.Tech. or any other degree with at least 60% in the relevant engineering or technology area, or any other qualification recognized as equal thereto.
Ph.D. in Science and Humanities: M.Sc., M.C.A., M.A., or any other degrees with at least 55% in the appropriate field of Science and Humanities that are recognized as equal thereto.
Ph.D. in Management Studies: MBA or any other degree with at least 60% in Management Studies that is recognized as comparable.

Selection Criteria

The institution will administer an entrance exam, and admission to Ph.D. programs will be determined by the results. Based on performance of the written test or their NET Score, the candidates will be shortlisted.

Any applicant who passes the GATE/NET requirements may be admitted directly to the Ph.D. program. There will be a written exam for other qualified applicants. The University's selection committee will shortlist the candidates and invite them for interviews based on their performance on the written exam.
