Gangadhar Meher University UG, PG Admission 2024: Form Last Date,Fees, Eligibility

Located in Sambalpur, Odisha, is Gangadhar Meher University (GMU). It opened for business in 2015. The institution provides 22 UG, 22 graduate, and 15 M.Phil. programs in addition to 8 major departments and 1 program in foreign languages offering Ph.D. degrees.

MBA

There are two methods to fill seats in the MBA course:

 Offline Mode:

• In order to be considered for admission to the MBA program, candidates must fill out an offline application for the Odisha JEE entrance exam.
• The candidates have to appear for OJEE counseling after taking the OJEE exam.
• In this category, direct admissions to the institution are also possible, provided that: a. The candidate has valid national/state level entrance test score such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc., and b .If there are any seats left after filling them from the OJEE examination. 

Online Mode:

• Candidates must complete the online application form in order to be considered for admission to the MBA program (only in Financial Management).
• In this course, selection will be done. 
  

UG Admission at of Gangadhar Meher University

Many undergraduate courses in a variety of subjects are available at GM University. The courses are offered for a three-year period. The candidate must have passed his 12th grade from a recognized institution in the relevant field in order to be eligible for any UG program. Merit-based selection will be used for the process.

PG Admission at University

Many PG courses on a variety of topics are also available at GM University. The two-year program lasts for two years. All PG courses require a bachelor's degree in the relevant field as a prerequisite. Every course will have admission based on the results of an entrance exam.

If an applicant wants to apply to more than one program, they must do so freely.
Only candidates who have studied in a particular discipline throughout their undergraduate studies and obtained 24 credits in that discipline at the UG level will be able to apply for M.A., M.Sc., professional, and technical courses.
The candidates for the M.Sc. programmed will be chosen in a 50:50 ratio based on their entrance exam scores and their previous academic performance.

The entrance exam will not be marked negatively.

M.Phil. Admission at University

GM University provides M.Phil. degrees in fifteen fields and Ph.D. degrees in eight fields. A master's degree or its equivalent with at least 55% of the possible points is the minimum required for candidates to apply to any of the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs. Applicants for the M.Phil./Ph.D. program may also be those who have qualified for UGC/CSIR/NET/SLET, or who have been awarded a UGC teaching fellowship or study leave by the Government of Odisha, DHE. Candidates will be admitted based solely on merit. The candidate's career marks, and entrance exam results will be given consideration for determining merit, with the viva-voce coming last.

MBA Admission at University

There are two ways that University accepts students for its MBA program. MBA (online application only) and MBA in Financial Management (online application process). An accredited university's graduate degree in any honors program qualifies a candidate for an offline or online MBA. The candidate's OJEE entrance exam score, which is determined by OJEE counseling, will be used to determine their MBA (offline) selection. The selection process for the MBA in Financial Management, which is done through an online site, takes into consideration both the candidate's entrance exam scores and career grades.

 Admission at Gandhar Meher University

The admission process for UG courses involves merit from class 12, while MA and M.Sc. courses use an entrance test and qualifying marks. MBA candidates' scores in the OJEE entrance exam and OJEE counseling are used for offline admission. For MBA in Financial Management, career and entrance exam marks are considered. Ph.D. admission is based on entrance test marks, personal interview, or viva voice.

Steps to apply

• Applicants must complete the online application form, which may be found at official website of university and complete the application form individually for each program.
• Applying to each UG course requires the candidates to submit a bank draft made payable to the "Comptroller of Finance, G.M. University, Sambalpur" and made out to the appropriate person.
• The amount for UG courses is INR 300 and 500 for postgrad, M.Phil., and Ph.D. courses. The completed online application form and bank draft must be turned in person at the university counter or delivered to "The Registrar, G.M. University, AMRUTA VIHAR, FATAK, BADHARAJA SAMBALPUR, ODISHA-768004" via registered mail.

Merit holder students can apply for scholarships through states and governments scheme. Additionally, the college administration and management occasionally award scholarships to members of reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and disabled. Library: The college includes a modern library with all the facilities that students might possibly need for improved understanding and learning. It could contain a collection of about 12,000,000 volumes in total, as well as numerous periodicals, magazines, audio-visual materials for students with disabilities, cassettes, and many more resources for the university's teachers and students.

Hostels: Collage has separate facilities for boys and girls with mess. Mess provides good quality of food with hygiene well furnished rooms and other facilities.

Canteen Facility: Canteens of university provides home like food and environment for students. Quantity and quality of food regularly checked by appointed members.

Transport: Transportation facility is also provided to students.

Other facilities include Wi-fi, Computer Labs which is use in different course.

Students are allowed to access computer for learning, understanding and other requirements. Student Counselling cell is also created for better understanding of student's requirements. In order to improve students' physical health and wellness, sports and games are always offered at the university.
