SR Engineering College (SREC) is associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), and was founded in 2002. The state government's standards determine who gets admitted to the college. Along with an MBA program, SR Engineering College, Warangal provides B.Tech and M.Tech programs in 5 different specialisations. The college offers about 200 seats in the M.Tech program and 720 places in the B.Tech program with several specialisations.

The Sri Rajeshwara Educational Society is the organization that founded SR University. Various UG and graduate courses in various specializations are available at the university. In collaboration with international universities, it also provides the International Engineering Program (IEP). University collaborates with Saint Louis University, University of New Haven, University of Missouri, University of Central Missouri, and University of Massachusetts Lowell. Additionally, students can pursue a 2+2 B.Sc. degree from Melbourne University in Australia and SR University. Moreover, SR University and Umass University in the USA provide the BBA+MBA/MS program to students enrolled in the International Business Accelerated Program (IBAP). 

Applicants for the B.Tech program must have earned a First Class (12th) grade, or 60% in the science stream, in the Higher Secondary Examination. Applicants who received a diploma from an accredited school by the government are also welcome to apply. The only applicants who can apply for UG programs are those who have a valid JEE Main or EAMCET score. Applicants for the M.Tech/MBA program must have graduated from an accredited university with at least 50% of their engineering degree or its equivalent.

SR University comprises 6 schools: School of Applied Health Sciences, School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, School of Engineering, School of Business, School of Sciences and Humanities, and School of Agriculture. In order to turn ideas into deeds, academics, entrepreneurs, mentors, and researchers come together at SR University's Technology Business Incubator, or SRiX.

The SR Engineering College's B.Tech program admits students based on their performance on the JEE Main or TS EAMCET. The program's primary qualifying requirements are 12th with 60% in the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the major subjects.

The college also provides lateral admission into the 2nd year of the B.Tech program for applicants who have completed a diploma or B.Sc. program at an accredited university with 50% or above. Online registration forms are available for program admission.

Application Procedure 2024 at University

B.Tech and M.Tech programs are offered by SR Engineering College (SREC) based on results from the TS EAMCET and TS PGECET, respectively.

• After the official announcement, candidates who want to be considered for admission to B.Tech and M.Tech programs should register for the TS EAMCET and TS PGECET.
• Interested students must register using the official form, which is accessible online, and pay the registration costs. Registration is based on passing the qualifying exam and admission exam.
• When uploading the documents, the candidate must include a copy of their TS EAMCET, JEE Main, or GATE score card, if applicable.

For additional verification, the original document copy must be turned in offline at the designated organisations.
The fees of counselling is INR 1000 for candidates who are OC/BC and INR 500 for candidates who are SC/ST.
