University provides admissions to MBA under 3 Disciplines: MHA Executive, MPH, and Ph.D. . Eligibility Criteria for admissions to PG courses is based on having graduation degree. Candidates having PG degree are eligible to apply for admission to the Ph.D. program.

  • The University will conduct a group discussion and personal interview in addition to using the scores from the CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, and GPAT exams to determine admission to the MBA program.  
  • The institution administers IIHMR-UMAT to students who did not appear for CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, or GPAT.
  • Admission to MPH will be determined by a personal interview in addition to the scores obtained on the GRE, MCAT, LSAT, or GMAT.
  • The Ph.D. selection process will be based on the results of the Institute's Research Aptitude Test (IRAT).
  • Candidates who fulfill the requirements for JRF, NET, or SLET will not need to take the Ph.D. entrance exam and will be invited to an interview instead.

The university uses both a group discussion and a personal interview as part of its selection procedure. Admissions 2024 for MPH at University

Admission to the Masters of Public Health Program is available from the university. Candidates will be eligible to enroll in the course if they have completed at least 2 years of full-time work in the health field after earning a bachelor's or master's degree.

Eligibility for MPH Program

The applicant needs to hold a bachelor's degree.
2 years of minimum full-time experience in a health-related field in addition to a bachelor's or master's degree. (Those with a Ph.D. or an M.B.B.S. do not need to have work experience.)

Steps to apply for MPH

Those who want to apply for the MPH program should do so by following the instructions listed below:

STEP 1: To ensure pre-approval, candidates should submit the fully completed pre-screening questionnaire along with an updated curriculum vitae by May 31, 2024, at the latest.

Step 2: Following the reception of the materials in Step 1, the applicant will receive a confirmation email from IIHMR-U. If the student is found to be eligible, the University will send the candidate an email requesting pre-approval for the application. 

Required Documents:

1. Curriculum Vitae and Resume are required documents; they must be uploaded with the application.
2. page of the personal statement that you will upload with your application.
3. Three recommendation letters through electronic means through SOPHAS.
4.Official TOEFL scores: Use code 5688 to send this to SOPHAS in Massachusetts.

5. Official GMAT results should be sent to KGB-3R-06, and official GRE results should be given to JHSPH at SOPHAS 3738.

6. All foreign transcripts, which include all schools and universities you attended outside the United States, should be forwarded through World Education Services.

Admissions 2024 for Ph.D. at University

A Ph.D. in development studies, public health, pharmaceutical management, and hospital and health administration is also offered by the college. A master's degree, or PGDM, is the primary need for eligibility. The university's Research Aptitude Test (IRAT) and the ensuing Personal Interview determine admissions entirely on the basis of merit.

Applicants who have passed the M Phil program in relevant topics and are qualified by UGC CSIR for JRF & NET, SLET, GATE, and Teacher Research Fellowships, will not need to appear for the IRAT exam. Holders of PG degrees will be qualified for admission. 

Eligibility for Ph.D. Program

  • Master's degree or PGDM (AIU equivalency to MBA required in the case of PGDHM/PGDBM/PGDM/PGDRM/PGDPM) 60% for applicants in the general category and 50% for those in the SC and ST categories, or equivalent grades.
  • Candidates may continue to conduct research leading to a Ph.D. degree in the same institution through an integrated program if they have successfully completed the MPhil course work with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC and ST candidates) in aggregate or its equivalent.

Selection Criteria for Ph.D. Program

  • The candidates will be chosen according to their performance on the University Research aptitude exam (IRAT).
  • Candidates who meet the requirements of the NET or SLET will not need to take the entrance exam.
  • Those that meet the requirements will be invited for a personal interview and group discussion.
