Nestled amidst the hills of Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand, is University (IUU). It is a private, non-profit university that was founded in 1996 and is accredited by UGC. Under 5 schools—the School of Management, the School of Law, the School of Mass Communication, the School of Hospitality Management, and the School of Liberal Arts—it provides UG and graduate degree programs.

  • Admission to BBA, Integrated BBA-MBA, B.Com (Hons), MHM, and MA English degrees is determined by the candidate's performance in a personal interview and merit on the qualifying test.
  • For the BA, BA (Hons), BHM, and MA in Journalism & Mass Communication programs, the institute takes into account the results of an independent entrance exam in addition to merit and the interview.
  • The admission process for the Integrated BBA.LLB (Hons) and BA.LLB (Hons) programs is merit-based, with a personal interview conducted after the CLAT/LSAT results.
  • While the University Admission Test/CLAT score and PI are required for admission to LLM.

Admissions 2024 at UG 

University (IUU) offers three-year degree programs in undergraduate studies, including BBA, B.Com (Hons.), B.A., and BA (Hons). BHM four-year degree program, BBA-MBA integrated course, and BBA-LLB (Hons) integrated course (five years).

A passing grade of at least the minimum necessary in 12th is required for admission to all courses. Merit in the qualifying exam and subsequent personal interview determine admission.

Merit and performance in a personal interview determine admission to Integrated Law programs, with CLAT or LSAT score holders given preference.

While the LSAT is a standardized test created by the USA-based Law School Admission Council (LSAC), CLAT is a centralized law admission examination.
Candidates for 5-year integrated law courses must be at least 20 years old as of July 1 in order to be eligible.

Admissions 2024 for PG at University

The institution provides various PG degrees, including MBA, M.A., MHM, and LLM, in addition to UG studies. While the LLM program lasts 1 year, the MBA, MA, and MHM programs last 3 years.

Applicants for postgraduate studies must hold a bachelor's degree in a suitable field. Personal interview and merit are the main factors in MA and MHM admissions. The university also administers an additional entrance exam to candidates for the MA in English.

While IIU administers a University Admission Test for LLM programs, aptitude testing is used to select applicants for MBA programs. A valid CLAT score entitles a person to test exemption. The PI round determines the ultimate selection.

Application Procedure 2024 at University

The methods listed below can be used to fill out the application both offline and online:

Online Mode:

  • Visit the University's official website.
  • Enter your information, including your name, email address, and phone number.
  • The candidate will receive an SMS with an OTP after completing the required information.
  • To register yourself, enter this OTP and fill out the remaining fields with your state, city, program, course, and gender.
  • Fill out the application with all the information requested after registering.
  • You must next pay the application fee of INR 1000 using a debit card, credit card, net banking, NEFT, or RTGS.
  • A receipt is generated upon payment of the application fee, and this receipt is required for the remainder of the application procedure.
  • The form should then be print out and sent with scanned copies of all the required documentation.

Offline mode:

  • To register, applicants must go to the University Admission Office and pay INR 1000 in cash or with a bank draft made payable to the institution.
  • Upon registering successfully, candidates must proceed with the admissions procedure. Applicants are asked to check the college website frequently for updates on admissions.

Scholarships for University

         Candidates from Uttarakhand Category:

        Up to 40% of all scholarships offered by UNiversity are awarded to candidates who are residents of Uttarakhand for each program. During the whole program, a 26% tuition fee waiver is provided by this award. Students are awarded it on a first-come, first-served basis following their full payment of fees at the time of admission.

        Candidates in All India Categories:

        All Indian candidates for UG/PG programs are eligible for merit scholarships, which are only awarded for the first year of the program as shown in the table below:

             Scholarship for the Wards of Martyrs in the Defense and Central Armed Police Forces:

            Under the All India category, University grants scholarships to the Wards of Martyrs in                  the Defense and CAPF Personnel. Throughout the course of the program, this                  s              scholarship  waives 100% of the tuition.
