Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University Admissions 2024-25

Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University Admission 2024 has started. University Admissions are done based on merit as well as entrance. The university will be accepting entrance examinations like EAMCET, AGRICET & AGRIENGGCET for admissions to its various programs. Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of the university.

The institution provides 16 Ph.D. programs, 22 PG degrees, and four UG programs in science, engineering, management, and agriculture. Selection for B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture and B.Tech programs is based on results from the EAMCET admission test.

The entrance exam for the second year of the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture program is called AGRICET. Applicants to this course must have completed a two-year Diploma in Agriculture, Seed Technology, or Organic Farming from University or PJTSAU. applicants in the general category must pay a registration fee of INR 500, while applicants in the SC, ST, and PH categories must pay INR 250.

Admissions 2024 for B.Tech and B.Sc at University

University provides B.Tech and B.Sc. programs in a range of subjects. Selection for B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture and B.Tech programs is based on results from the EAMCET admission test. in the basis of merit in the qualifying test, candidates are admitted to the B.Sc. (Hons) in Community Science.

In order to be admitted to the 2nd year of the B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture program, candidates must pass the Diploma in Agriculture in order to be eligible for the AGRICET. In contrast, admission to the 2nd year of the B.Tech program in Agricultural Engineering is determined by the results of the university's AGRIENGGCET exam. Candidates must meet the requirements for an Agricultural Engineering Diploma.

Admissions 2024 for M.Tech , M.Sc and MBA

Various PG courses in a range of subjects are available at University. An MBA in Agricultural Management is also offered there. The university provides M.Sc. programs in home science and agriculture that lead to a variety of disciplines. It provides an M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering with three specialisations.

A candidate must have completed their B.Tech in the relevant specialisation in order to be eligible for an M.Tech. Candidates for M.Sc. programs must successfully complete a 4-year B.Sc. program with applicable specialisations. Those pursuing an MBA must successfully complete a bachelor's degree in a suitable field.

  • To be eligible, the candidate's CGPA must be 5.5 out of 10 or at least 50%.
    40 is the maximum age for PG degree.

  • The university administers an entrance exam, which has a 50% weighting.
  • A master's level performance is worth 30% of the total.
  • 10% of the weight is allocated to performance at the degree (undergraduate) level.

Ranga Agricultural University, payable at Guntur, for each course, for INR 1200/-for General and INR 600/-for SC, ST, & PH categories (M.Sc. / Ph.D. courses) in favour of SBH / SBI / ANDHRA BANK.

The following are the steps to apply for AGRICET and AGRIENGGCET:

Step 1: Go to the official website and download the application.
Step 2: For general candidates, a DD for INR 500 (or INR 250 for SC/ST and PC candidates) to be made payable at GUNTUR to Contoller, ANGRAU.
Step 3: The application form must be turned in in person or by mail by 5:00 P.M. on the day of the the due date, together with two self-attested envelopes stamped with an INR 5/-postal stamp.

There are 11 libraries located at the university's main campus. The University Librarian oversees the operation of the libraries. Assistant Librarians are responsible for the College Libraries and Regional Libraries. Some e-materials are being made available online in addition to print materials. Hostels:

The university offers 21 hostels for boys and 19 hostels for girls, with separate accommodations for boys and girls. with 3220 students worth of accommodations available. The hostel accommodations have been providing joyful, healthy, and comfortable stays for the students.
