Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University Admissions 2024-25

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) is the 15th university taking part in CLAT-2015, founded in 2008, . It provides courses for B.A., LLB, LLM, and Ph.D. The CLAT entrance exam is the basis for admission to these courses. Online application processing is available. The university offers a remuneration package that typically falls between INR 3 and 4 LPA.

One of the most prominent law schools in the nation, it has already start the admissions process. University provides 4 categories of legal course offerings:

  • PG courses such as LL.M. and PG Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Integrated courses such as BA LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.B. LL.M.

Every course has its own prerequisites and application processes. The 5-year Integrated BA LL.B. (Hons.) program has 132 seats. The Common Law Admission Test, or CLAT, is used for admission to this course.

The 12-seat PG LL.M. course runs for a year. Admission is accomplished using CLAT. Applicants must have passed the LL.B. exam or an equivalent test in order to apply to this course. The 1-year PG Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution program is open to all graduates of accredited universities. 


Admission 2025 for BA, LLB at University

In order to be admitted to the B.A. LL.B. program at  University (DSNLU), candidates—both local and NRI/foreign students—must fulfil specific requirements. If a person satisfies all those prerequisites, they can obtain the Notification Manual and any other necessary documents to move forward with the application procedure.

B.A. LL.B.:    HSC/10+2/any comparable exam with 40% (SC/ST) or 45% (Unreserved/OBC/SAP) of marks.

               As long as they bring the necessary documentation with them when they are admitted, candidates who are taking their qualifying exam in April or May are also eligible to apply.
               

As of July 1st, NRI, Foreign, and NRI Sponsored Students must be under 20 years old. If a member of the SC, ST, or OBC, their age must not exceed 22 years old. should also receive at least 45% of the possible marks in the HSC, Intermediate, or Equivalent exam.

Admissions for DSNLU B.A. LL.B. programs are handled online using the CLAT. Applicants can visit CLAT's official website and submit their application by following the guidelines provided there.

Following the release of the CLAT results, a number of allotment lists will be made available. Those selected will then need to pay the INR 50,000 counselling fee by the due date. If they don't, it will be assumed that they have forfeited their CLAT privileges and their names will be removed from the CLAT merit list.

Admissions 2025 for LL.B-LL.M & LL.M 

Certain procedures and eligibility requirements must be met in order to be admitted to the University combined LL.B.-LL.M. and LL.M. in Tax Laws programs.

The university will use a screening exam, group discussion, and interview to select students for this specific degree program. There are 60 places available for the dual degree, 10 of which are set aside for international students. The other seats are distributed in accordance with Andhra Pradesh government regulations.

Graduate of any field from any accredited university with a minimum grade of 50% for SC/ST/Differently Abled students or 55% for General students.

Candidates must be under 25 years old (general/OBC) or under 27 years old (SC/ST/Differently Abled) as of July 1st.

Applicants who are taking their qualifying exam may also apply, as long as they bring the necessary documentation with them when they are admitted.
LL.M.
LL.B. or any other comparable degree from an accredited university with 50% (SC/ST) or 55% (Unreserved/OBC/SAP)

As long as they bring the necessary documentation with them when they are admitted, candidates who are scheduled to take their qualifying exam in March or April are eligible to apply as well.

Admissions 2025 for PG Diploma

Before applying to this program, candidates must verify their eligibility, motivation, and course schedule.

Upon completion of the required application processes, candidates can await notification from the institution. Applicants will be chosen for admission based on the university's interview process. The full INR 29,000 course fees must be paid at the time of admission by those who are selected.

Those who hold a master's or bachelor's degree in psychology are psychologists or psychiatrists.

Application Procedure  2025 at University

  • Candidates who meet the requirements should download the application from University official website.
  • Together with the completed application form, students from India must pay a processing fee of INR 2000; students from other countries or those sponsored by NRIs must pay INR 5000.
  • Payment for the fee must be made by demand draft, payable in Vishakapatnam, to the Registrar of University.
  • The application, payment, and necessary attachments should be delivered to

  • T.C. & C.C. issued by the last educational institution
  • Caste Certificate/Income Certificate/Disability Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled Person (Latest)
  • Domicile Certificate, if local candidate (Or any proof verifying you as a local candidate)
  • Self-addressed envelope
  • One passport size photograph
  • The filled in application form along with Rs.2000/- by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, University payable at Vishakapatnam.

List of Enclosures for Foreign/NRI students:

  • Copy of the Passport of the candidate/ Sponsor.
  • Character certificate issued from the institution last attended (Latest).
  • School leaving Certificate/ College leaving Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate.
  • Statement of marks at the qualifying examination (Intermediate/PUC/HSC) and 10th standard.
  • A copy of the qualifying examination's statement of marks (corresponding to intermediate, PUC, HSC, etc.) and, in the case of grades, the percentage and conversion certificate.
  • A duplicate of the birth certificate.
  • Health Certificate.
  • 8 candidate photos the size as a stamp.
  • One photo, if any, of the local guardian, who must be a close relative.


Note: At the time of admission, original copies of the abovementioned certifications must be presented. A 1000 INR application fee is required for students enrolled in the PG Diploma program.
