 The state of Andhra Pradesh founded University (BRAU), Srikakulam, in 2008. The university currently has 18 departments that provide a variety of UG and PG courses in the fields of arts, science, commerce, law, and business, among other subjects.

In order to be admitted to the LL.B. and integrated B.A.LL.B. program, the applicant must have received a rank on the state-level undergraduate legal entrance exam known as LAWCET, which is given online by the university.

Admission to the majority of PG courses is determined by means of the Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET). The university creates a merit list for different courses based on the scores that candidates received on their prior qualifying exam and on the AUCET exam. Admission to all other PG courses shall be determined entirelyon the students' performance in the previous qualifying exam. 

Important Points:

  • Applications must only be filed online.
  • 85% of the seats in each category and course of study are set aside for local candidates from the Andhra University region's districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, and Prakasam.
  • Both locals and foreign candidates may run for the remaining 15% of the seats.
  • Under the NCC, PH, CAP, NSS, and Sports categories, only local candidates are accepted.
    For female candidates in each category, 33.33% of the seats in each course will be set aside.
  • If female candidates selection on the basis of merit in each category account for at least 33.33% of the seats in that category, then this reservation rule will not be applied .Admission to University Srikakulam UG.

Admissions 2024 for PG Courses

Many PG courses, including M.A., M.Sc., M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Com., M.Ed., LL.M., M.Tech, and M.L.I.Sc. degrees in various specialisation subjects, are offered at University Srikakulam.

There are 5 distinct specialisation subjects available for the M.A. degree, and seven different specialisations available for the M.Sc. degree. Every PG course is available for 2 years.

Candidates must take the university-conducted AUCET (Andhra University Common Entrance Test) in order to be considered for admission to all PG programs, with the exception of M.B.A. and M.C.A.

Additionally, University provides 3-year Ph.D. programs in 6 different research domains and M.Phil. programs in 6 different specialisations.

Candidates must pass the Dr. BRAURESET exam in order to be admitted to BRAU's Ph.D. program.

Test results from the GATE, CSIR, UGC-NET, SLET, and other comparable national level exams are considered. The exams taken into consideration are subject to University's judgement.
applicants for admission to University must pass the entrance exam with 40% of the possible points; SC/ST applicants will be granted a 5% exemption.

  • Visit the Official Website.
  • Select the eligible course.
  • Candidates should download the Hall-Tickets from the University website and attend the examination.
  • A candidate has to pay Rs. 500/- (Plus Bank charges applicable for the mode of payment selected) as Registration and Application Processing Fee (and late fee if applicable) by opting any of the following modes of payments: (a) Andhra Bank / State Bank of India Challan (b)Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.
  • After filling the online Application form with the required details, verify all the details carefully and press Submit button.
  • Filled in Application form will be generated that contains application number along with filled details. Take a print out of filled in online application Form. Use the Application number for future correspondence till the admission process is completed.
