The state of Andhra Pradesh founded Krishna University in the Machilipatnam Krishna district in 2008. For qualified students, the university provides a variety of UG, graduate, and doctorate courses. The candidates are selected based on their performance in the university's Krishna University Common Entrance Test (KRUCET).

• 85%  of the seats are set aside for qualified applicants from Andhra Pradesh's area.
• The following are the reserved seats for the remaining 15%: Scheduled Communities (BC): 29% (A-7%; B-10%; C-1%; D-7%; E-4%); Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%; Scheduled Tribes (ST): 06%; ii) iv) Children of Armed Personnel (CAP; 02% viii) v) Sports: 0.5% vi) Physically Handicapped (PH): 3%; (vii) Women: 33.3% in O.C. and in each of reservation categories

Admission 2024 for UG Program

Krishna University offers a wide range of UG degrees with different specialisations, including BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc., BCA, BBM, and BHM. Every one of these courses has a 3-year duration.

Students must have passed their relevant subject in their 12th exam in order to get admitted. The qualified applicants must take the KRUCET (Krishna University Common Entrance Test) UG admission exam and meet the university's cutoff marks.

Admission 2024 for PG Program

University provides a wide range of PG courses with different specialisations for those interested in pursuing further education. The MA, M.Com, M.Sc., PG Diploma, MHRM, and M.Ed. courses are available.

Applicants needed to have studied for and completed a graduate degree in order to be admitted. The university itself administers the KRUCET (Krishna University Common Entrance Test), a postgraduate entrance exam, to candidates who meet the eligibility requirements.

Important Things to Remember:

Candidates who are accepted through the KRUCET PG Entrance Exam and Counselling may be entitled for fee reimbursement in accordance with the policies of the Andhra Pradesh government.

Admissions 2024 for M.Phil and Ph.D.

The university also provides Ph.D. and M.Phil. programs for students who want to pursue research-related higher education. For a period of three to six years, depending on the subject, the following courses are offered: Direct Ph.D. (full time), Direct Ph.D. (part time), Direct M.Phil (full time), Direct M.Phil (part time), Ph.D. (full time), and Ph.D. (part time).

The institution administers the KRUCET, which eligible students must take in order to be considered for a personal interview.

Important Things to Remember:

• For GEN/OBC applicants, 55% of the marks are necessary.
• 5% mark relaxation is granted to SC/ST candidates.

Application Process at University

• Applicants must complete the form ONLINE at the university's official website.
• The application fee must be paid online using a credit or debit card or net-banking.
• Course fees for Science, Education, and other subjects are Rs. 1000 for 1st  counseling, Rs. 1300 for second counseling, and Rs. 1500 for 3rd counseling.
• The initial counseling fees is Rs. 500, the second counseling fee is Rs. 800, and the 3rd counseling fee is Rs. 1000.
