As a State University for Higher Education of the regional general and of the Mahbubnagar district specifically, Palamuru University was founded in 2008. With the Postgraduate College of Osmania University serving as its core and offering 5 PG courses, University began operations in the 2008–2009 academic year.

Admission 2024 for B.Pharm & D.Pharm Program

The university provides a D.Pharm diploma program in addition to an undergraduate B.Pharmacy degree. The prerequisite for both courses is a 12th diploma in a relevant subject from an accredited board.

Admission to the D.Pharm program is merit-based, while the B.Pharmacy program uses TSEAMCET.

Admission 2024 for PG Courses M.Sc, MA, MBA, M.Com

The university provides PG degrees in M.Sc., MA, M.Com., and MBA. The prerequisite for all of these courses is a graduation in the pertinent topics.

OUPGCET is the selection criteria for M.Sc., M.A., and M.Com. The TSICET score serves as the MBA selection criteria.

Admissions 2024 for M.Pharm, MSW & M.Ed.

The primary prerequisite for admission to the M.Pharm program is completion of a B.Pharm degree from any accredited university. The prerequisite for MSW is a degree in a related field from any accredited university.

Candidates for the M.Ed program must have received 50% of the possible marks in their B.Ed, BA.B.Ed, B.Sc., B.Ed, B.El.Ed, or D.El.Ed, or an equivalent grade.

Obtaining a score on the OUPGCET is a prerequisite for admission to the university for all of these topics.

Admission 2024 for Ph.D. Program

The university also provides Ph.D. programs in a number of different fields of study. Ph.D. programs are available at the university in chemistry, microbiology, English, commerce, and physics.

The primary prerequisite for entrance to a Ph.D. program is graduation in a relevant field from any university. To be eligible for a Ph.D. program, candidates must pass the OUPGCET.

Admission Procedure for 2024

The procedures listed below must be followed by a candidate in order to be admitted to PG program:

1. Fill out the application form available on the college website by downloading it.
2. The applicant must correctly complete the application in their own handwriting.
3. In accordance with the standards, the application form must be submitted with important papers attested to it.
4. The application fee for candidates is INR 700, payable at SBH, and should be drawn on any nationalised bank in the name of "The Registrar, Palamuru University."
