The Assam Agricultural University (AAU) was established in 1969 in Barbheta, Jorhat, Assam. The VET (Veterinary Entrance Test) is an offline test that is administered at one of the designated centers. VET is conducted at the university level, and the results of this test decide admission to B.Sc. (Veterinary Science).

Applications can be filed online, and the INR 1100 application fee must be paid through the payment portal online. Subsequently, an admit card will be issued, which must be presented at the VET.
