Assam Down Town University UG, PG Admission 2024: Form Last Date,Fees, Eligibility

Assam Down Town University provides bachelor's and master's degree programs in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Paramedical, Hospitality, and Skill Development. It has signed a memorandum of understanding with the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) to provide a degree program in Hotel Management and Industrial Training.

Admission 2024 for B.Tech

At the UG level, University provides courses leading to B. Tech, Integrated Dual degree courses such as B.Tech + M. Tech and B.Tech + MBA degrees in the fields of Engineering, Technology, and Management to eager students who want to pursue a career in the appropriate sector. The B.Tech courses are 4 years long and available in a variety of specializations. The university also offers lateral entrance in the 2nd year of the B.Tech program, which lasts 3 years. The amount of seats available is determined on the candidates' selected expertise.

Candidates applying for admission to the aforementioned courses are selected based on their performance in the most recent qualifying examination in the respective discipline or with Math as one of the subject options.

Admission to the B.Tech course is also based on the results of the Central Board of Secondary Education's Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains). Admission 2024 for UG Program

The university provides a variety of UG courses, including Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Integrated BBA-MBA, and Integrated BCA-MCA programs. Except for Integrated Courses, all UG courses are 3-year in duration.

Candidates must have a Graduation level degree from any recognized university with at least 45% in aggregate to be considered for the relevant courses.

Candidates seeking admission to the above-mentioned courses must complete their final qualifying exams in the respective discipline. The marks attained in their most recent academic exams are used to determine qualified individuals. The university will organize and carry out the selecting process itself.

Admission 2024 for UG Medical 

University offers a variety of UG medical courses. The programs are offered in a variety of specialties. The number of seats and time period are determined by the candidates' selected expertise.

All Allied Health Sciences Courses are selected based on performance in the most recent qualifying examination in the appropriate discipline. To be eligible for the programs, candidates must have completed a 12th from a recognized institute and have scored the requisite percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, as well as pass marks in English.

Admissions 2024 for PG Courses

For admission to the M.Sc program, candidates must have a B.Sc degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks. For admission to MBA program, candidates must have a graduation degree with at least 45% marks.

Valid MAT results will also be accepted for admission into the MBA programme.

Admission 2024 for PG Medical 

University offers PG studies in Medical Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmaceutical Studies with a variety of specializations. Each specialization has 2-year duration. In addition to these courses, the university offers Master of Science (M.Sc) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs in a variety of specializations.

Admission to the abovementioned courses is based on performance in the pre-qualifying exam. However, in order to meet the qualifying requirements, candidates must have a Graduate Degree in the relevant area from any recognized university.

Admission 2024 for Distance Education

University also offers distance education courses at the UG and PG levels in Science and Business Administration with a variety of specializations. The UG distance courses last 3 years, while the PG distance course in Business Administration takes two years.

Admission to all University distant courses is dependent on performance in the previous qualifying examination.

Students seeking admission to an MBA program who have taken and received a valid score on any of the State Level MBA/MMS-CET/GMAT/CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT or equivalent entrance tests at the State or National level, valid for the current academic year, are also eligible for the program.

Admission 2024 for Ph.D. Program

At the doctorate level, the university provides a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program with a variety of specializations. The program includes courses in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Basic Sciences, Management, Medical and Life Sciences, and certain Humanities areas. The Ph.D. program typically lasts 4- 7 years.

To be eligible for Ph.D programs, candidates must have a Master's degree from a recognized university or institution.
