Admissions 2024 for B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Ed., LLB

University offers full time UG courses of 3 years with various specializations to select from. The candidates should have completed their Intermediate (10+2) in the relevant stream (Science stream for B.Sc) with minimum required marks. However, for B.Ed. and L.L.B. the basic eligibility criteria is Bachelors degree of 3 years with  at least 50%  marks from any recognized University

•  University selects students for any UG program based on their performance on the qualifying exams.
• In addition to graduation marks, the results of the CGVYAPAM entrance test are also considered into account for the B.Ed.

Admissions 2024 for PG Course

The university admits PG students with various specialisations. The candidates must have graduated from University or any other accredited university with at least 45% of their bachelor's degree (or 50% for MBA and MSW).

• Candidates must have completed their B.Sc. for take admission to M.Sc. programs. Students pursuing an MCA must have studied mathematics as a required subject during their graduation.
• A candidate is selected for any PG programme at University based on their performance in the qualifying exams.
• In addition to graduation grades, CGP MCA counselling will be used to select those selected for MCA.

Admission 2024 for DCA, PGDCA

 University offers diploma programmes in addition to standard UG and PG studies. Candidates must have finished 12th in order to be admitted to DCA, and they must have completed 10+2+3 years of schooling in order to be eligible for PGDCA from any board or college that is recognised.

• The selection to Diploma courses is merit- based.
• No minimum cut off of any type is required.

Steps to Apply for University

To be admitted to University, applicants must complete an application. Both online and offline modes are available for filling it out.

Online mode:

The methods described below can be used to fill out the online application form:

• Go to University's official website and select the "New Admission" link.
• Select the desired admissions course and complete all the necessary fields.
• After selecting "Save," generate a password for your login ID.
• Enter your newly given email address and password to log in, then complete the remaining fields.
• As requested by the website, upload the scanned copies of the documents.
• Online payment of the application fee is required.
• For later use, printout the application form.

Offline mode:

The Offline application form can be filled by following the below-listed steps:

• Visit the official website of University and click on ‘Download Offline Admission Form’ OR obtain the Admission Brochure from the University campus for Rs 200/- only.
• Select the desired course of admission and fill up all the required details.
• Click on ‘Save’ and Generate your login id password after that.
• Login by using newly assigned e-mail ID and password followed by fulfilment of rest of the details.
• Download the Admission Form and attach the required documents to it.
• The filled in application form along with requisite fees in the form of Bank Draft has to be sent to the following address: The Registrar, Bastar Vishwavidyalay, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh – 494001.

Required Documents:

• 10th and 12th Marks sheet along with the passing certificate.

• Caste Certificate and Migration Certificate (from the last attended institute).
