Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Admissions 2024-25

Admissions to Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), sometimes referred to as university, are held once a year. Most University UG and graduate programs need admission through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), which is administered by the NTA. The university accepts JEE Mains and GATE results for admission to its main programs, including B.Tech and M.Tech, respectively. On the official website application forms for GGU's UG, PG, PhD, Diploma, and Certificate programs can be completed online.

Admissions 2024 for B.Tech Program

B.Tech programs are available in seven specialisations at University through the School of Studies of Engineering and Technology. JEE Main results are the basis for admission to B.Tech programs. Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Industrial & Production Engineering are the specialisations offered by the B.Tech program. There are 500 seats available in total for B.Tech. Additionally, candidates may be admitted to the 4-year program if they appear for JoSAA/CSAB counselling and have a valid JEE Mains score

Eligibility:   12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology with a at least 50% marks from recognized board

Candidates for University may select from more than 100 courses offered by University. Up to 30 UG courses are offered. The results of the CUET UG exam determine admission to 26 UG courses. The courses listed below are the ones that evaluate CUET scores when accepting new students. Additionally, the program's qualifying requirements and the CUET domain, or broad test, are listed here. Prior to waiting for the university merit list, candidates must take the CUET UG exam. Admissions for M.Tech 2024:

University has 7 specialisations in M.Tech programs offered by the same school of studies. The Master of Technology programs include Chemical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, CAD/CAM & Robotics, Machine Design, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Machine Design. GATE scores are the basis for admission to the MTech program. The master's program has a non-GATE category as well. There are 149 places available in the M.Tech program overall.

Application Procedure 2024

  • An applicant must register for university through the SAMARTH site in order to be considered for admission.
  • Applicants must use the homepage link for CUET registration on the university official website.
  • To continue, candidates must input their date of birth and CUET application number on the registrar portal.
  • Now enter the necessary information, including your name, email address, academic records, signature, and more.
  • After moving forward, choose the preferred path.
  • Finally, the non-refundable registration fee needs to be paid by candidates. Students must pay the registration fee online in the amount of INR 250 for UR, OBC, EWS, and INR 100 for SC/ST and PwD.
  • For future reference, applicants should print a copy of the registration form. 
Students now have to wait for the publication of the merit lists. After they are selected for further consideration, a counselling appointment will be arranged, and they will need to complete the course payment online in order to be admitted. 

Required Documents :

To participate in the offline counselling process, applicants interested in enrolling in GGU's UG, graduate, and doctoral programs must report to the appropriate department on the dates indicated in the email or on the website following the receipt of their cutoff scores. When scheduling a counselling session, the following paperwork will be needed:

Admissions 2024 for Ph.D. Program

University offers candidates with a wide range of specialisations Ph.D. degrees. It offers 25 specialisations in the fields of science, commerce, and the humanities. To be eligible for the Ph.D. program, an applicant must take the Vishwavidyalaya Research Entrance Test, or VRET. There is a round of personal interviews after the entrance exam.
