More than 86 UG, graduate, and doctorate programs in the fields of engineering, management, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, sciences, unani, and the arts are available for enrolment to Jamia Hamdard University. University Admission Portal accepts online applications for all courses.
The university also provides admission to PG Diploma, MCA, MPT, MOT, M.Sc., M.Sc. (Medical), M.Sc. (Nursing), and Entrance Test programs, which are offered based on an entrance exam that is administered by the institution and is followed by an interview. The School of Open & Distance Learning (SODL) provides PG Diploma, BBA, and BCA programs in various specialisations. Written exams and interviews are conducted by university for M.Phil and Ph.D. programs. Applicants who have passed the CSIR NET, UGC NET, GATE, ICAR, ICMR, or any other comparable exam are not required to take the written exam.
Admissions 2024 to UG (Medical)
Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR) provides full-time MBBS, BPT, BOT, and B.Sc. (Medical) courses. The only need to be admitted to these courses is a valid NEET UG score. Depending on how well they do on the qualifying exam and in the interview, non-NEET candidates may also submit an application for admission. The university additionally grants admission to B.Sc. Medical (Lateral Entry) students based on their performance in the qualifying exam and interview.

At the UG level, the university provides full-time B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Com, and BA courses. The minimum qualifying score for B.Tech program is 50% in PCM, while a 12th degree is needed for BA, BBA, BCA, or B.Com program. Admission 2024 to PG (Medical)
At PG level, university provides MD, MS, M.Sc. (Medical), M.Sc. (Nursing), MPT, and MOT courses in many streams. Admissions to the MD and MS programs are determined by the results of the NEET PG, while AYUSH PGET is used for MD (Unani) admissions. To provide admission to MPT, MOT, M.Sc. (Medical), and M.Sc. Full-time courses in several specialisations like M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, MA, and M.Sc. are offered by the university. Admission to M.Tech and MA programs is determined by merit and interview, with the exception of M.Tech programs in food technology and human rights, where admission is determined by entrance exams.
GPAT-qualified applicants are given consideration for admission to the M.Pharm program. For the MBA program, a valid score on the CMAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, or ATMA is needed.
