Jamia Hamdard University Admissions 2024-25

More than 86 UG, graduate, and doctorate programs in the fields of engineering, management, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, sciences, unani, and the arts are available for enrolment to Jamia Hamdard University. University Admission Portal accepts online applications for all courses.

  • Jamia Hamdard's MBBS admissions are determined on the merit score obtained in the NEET UG.
  • Candidates who have passed JEE Main may apply for the B.Tech program.
  • The university's interview and the student's performance on the CUET UG exam determine admission to the BA, BBA, BCA, and B.Com programs.
  • Applicants seeking admission to Jamia Hamdard's B.Sc., BOT, BPT, BUMS, and B.Pharm programs must appear in the NEET UG.
  • Merit and an interview round determine who gets in to the B.Sc. Medical (Lateral Entry) and B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) programs.

The School of Open & Distance Learning (SODL) provides PG Diploma, BBA, and BCA programs in various specialisations. Written exams and interviews are conducted by university for M.Phil and Ph.D. programs. Applicants who have passed the CSIR NET, UGC NET, GATE, ICAR, ICMR, or any other comparable exam are not required to take the written exam.

Admissions 2024 to  UG (Medical)

Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR) provides full-time MBBS, BPT, BOT, and B.Sc. (Medical) courses. The only need to be admitted to these courses is a valid NEET UG score. Depending on how well they do on the qualifying exam and in the interview, non-NEET candidates may also submit an application for admission. The university additionally grants admission to B.Sc. Medical (Lateral Entry) students based on their performance in the qualifying exam and interview.

Important Points

  • The M.Phil. in Federal Studies or other relevant areas is the basis for admission to the Ph.D. program in Federal Studies. Candidates who meet the requirements for the NET JRF are automatically admitted.
  • Sector Sponsored full-time Ph.D. candidates must meet the requirements for NET-JRF/NET-LS in the biological sciences, including the Pharmaceutical Medicine program.
  • Those who are employed by or supported by the industry will take unique test administered by university.
  • The research aptitude portion of the Ph.D. written test is weighted 25%, with the remaining 25% going towards the field of choice. The following criteria are used to determine admission to the M.Phil program: written test scores, UG and PG degree marks.
