Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan
In order to promote Sanskrit, Central Sanskrit University—formerly known as Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan—is a central university in New Delhi, India. Established in 1970, it comes under the control of the Government of India's Ministry of Human Resource Development and holds a "A" grade from the NAAC. Along with two other universities, National Sanskrit University and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, the Central Sanskrit Universities Act, 2020 was approved by the Indian Parliament in March 2020, elevating the institution from deemed to be a university to central university status. The university also provides distance learning courses.
Various UG and graduate Sanskrit programs are available at Central Sanskrit University. Merit scores from entrance exams like the CUET UG and CUET PG are used to determine admission to UG and graduate programs, respectively. However, admission to the M.Ed. program is contingent upon a valid CSAET score, whereas admission to the BEd program is contingent upon a CSSET exam followed by an interview. Merit in the entrance exam (CVVET) determines admission to the Ph.D. and D. Litt programs.
The 2023 Central Sanskrit University placement is still pending. However, Central Sanskrit University placed 906 out of 1707 graduating students from both the UG and PG batches in 2022, according to the Placement Report that the university submitted to NIRF. Both UG and PG batch students were awarded median salaries of INR 1.8 LPA and INR 2.4 LPA, respectively.

Admissions 2024 at University
Students can enrol in various UG and graduate Sanskrit programs at the university. Merit scores from entrance exams like the CUET UG and CUET PG are used to determine admission to UG and graduate programs, respectively. A valid CSAET score is required for admission to the M.Ed. program, while CSSET exam and interview are required for admission to the B.Ed. program. Library: University Campus of Delhi is growing institution and has an impressive collection of books on both traditional and modern subjects. The library has about 28000 books. Library users may use the library for free when visiting campus, but outsiders must obtain permission to use the facilities. Before entering the library, candidates must self-register, turn off their electronic gadgets, and follow rules posted inside. The library is an excellent source of information about the various disciplines of the university, including literature, grammar, and pedagogy. There are multiple books written in ancient Sanskrit and multiple volumes in the library of University.
Auditorium: University campus also includes 2 modern auditoriums having a seating capacity of 500 students. The auditorium is equipped with advanced facilities as well as a soundproofing system. Scholarships for Students
University, Delhi implements various schemes of the Central Government for the cultivation and propagation of the Sanskrit language and literature. The Government of India offers Sanskrit scholarships through Central Sanskrit University of up to INR 2,500 to students studying Sanskrit as a primary or optional subject in graduation, PG, and Ph.D level. The students are selected for the Sanskrit scholarship based on their merit.
