Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan is a Deemed University under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, located in New Delhi, India. To promote and expand Sanskrit literature, the designated university provides UG, graduate, and doctoral programs. Sanskrit literature is the focus of the university's B.A., M.A., B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D., and D. Litt programs.
The candidates' scores on the qualifying exam are used by the university for selection process. The university will conduct interviews with the shortlisted candidates.

Admissions 2024 to BA and MA Program
Sanskrit courses are offered by the university. University offers Shastri, an UG study that is comparable to B.A. Hons. The UG program lasts 3 years, and students must have at least 50% in 12th or its equivalent. The CUET scores are used to determine admission to University. Following the announcement of the CUET results, the admissions procedure begins.
BA Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary (12th grade in the 10+2 system) with Sanskrit from an approved Education Board, or they must have passed Madhyama of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan or an equivalent test approved by Sansthan.
Selection Criteria
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is required for Central Sanskrit University's BA (Hons) Sanskrit program. Candidates will first have to go through the CUET method till the results are declared, and then they will have to fill up the Central Sanskrit application form through counselling sessions. When taking the CUET, candidates must select the following combination of subjects:

Documents Required:
The university bases its selection process on the marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying exams. The shortlisted candidates must go through an interview conducted by the university.
Admission to M.A. will be based on merit and performance in the interview.

Admission 2024 to B.Ed. and M.Ed.
The university offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed) programs lasting 1 and 2 years, respectively. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed. program must take the CSSET, while applicants for the M.Ed. program must take the CSAET.
