The School of Planning and Architecture Delhi is an autonomous professional university located in New Delhi. The institute provides various UG, graduate, and doctorate degree programs. The courses are offered in the Architecture, Planning, and Design departments. At UG level, University provides B.Arch and B.Plan courses. The PG level, M. Arch, M. Planning, M. Des., and MBEM programs are available. Admission to UG degrees is based on the JEE main entrance examination. The application procedure for the JEE Main program is currently continuing. Admissions to PG programs are dependent on GATE/CEED scores. Ph.D. admissions require a valid UGC-NET test score.

Admissions 2024 to B.Arch Program  

University offers 5-year full-time B.Arch study as part of its UG education programs. The course's student capacity is 122. The B.Arch course at university has been approved by the Council of Architecture.

Eligibility: 

• Candidates applying to the B.Arch program at University must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in 12th or comparable examinations.
• 12th exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their primary courses.
• 10+3 Diploma course with Mathematics as a main subject are eligible to apply for the B.Arch program.
• At least 50% in a Diploma course.
• Candidates must have taken the JEE Main exam to be eligible for admission to SPA Delhi B.Arch.
• Candidates must have taken the JEE Main examinations.
• The final selection will be based on JoSAA counselling.

Selection Criteria :

Admission to B.Arch programs would be dependent on the candidate's JEE Main examination scores. Those who pass the exam will be contacted for the counselling procedure.

Admissions 2024 to B.Plan

University provides B.Plan course as part of its UG education program, with a maximum enrolment of 35 students. B. The Plan program is 4-year, full-time course.

Eligibility:

• Candidates applying to B.Arch program at university must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in 12th or comparable examinations.
• 12th exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their primary courses.
• Candidates who have completed the 10+3 Diploma course with Mathematics as a main subject are eligible to apply for the B.Arch program.
• At least 50% in a Diploma course.
• Candidates must have taken the JEE Main exam to be eligible for admission to SPA Delhi B.Arch.
• Candidates must have taken the JEE Main examinations. 

Selection Criteria:

Admission to B.Arch programs would be dependent on the candidate's JEE Main examination scores. Those who pass the exam will be contacted for the counselling procedure.

Steps to apply for UG courses

To apply for B.Arch and B.Plan courses, candidates must first take the National Level Entrance Examination JEE Main administered by the National Testing Agency.

Documents Required:

• Scanned copies of 10th and 12th grade mark sheets.
• JPG/JPEG format. scanned passport-sized photo.
• Required documents include a scanned signature and a domicile certificate.
• Caste Certificate 

Other requirements:

• Valid email address and mobile number.
• A valid debit/credit card, net banking account, UPI/Paytm account.

Application Process: 

• Visit the JEE Main website.
• To apply, click "Apply for JEE Main" under "New Candidate Registration".
• Enter your personal and educational information.
• Submit the application form.
• Make sure to note down the application number generated.
• Upload all required documents.
• Pay the application fees with credit/debit card, Paytm, or SBI Buddy.
• Fees can also be paid with an e-challan. After submitting the form, the e-challan can be downloaded from the internet and deposited at any of the following banks: ICICI, HDFC, Syndicate, or Canara.

Admissions 2024 to M.Arch

University offers Master of Architecture study as part of its PG programs. The course lasts 2 years, with total 46 students enrolled. The M.Arch program at university features 2 expertise, each having a capacity of 263 students.

Eligibility:

• For M.Arch program must have obtained at least 55% aggregate marks in their B.Arch examinations.
• SC/ST/OBC applicants are eligible for a 5% discount. 

Selection Criteria:

• The M.Arch program at university is fully merit-based.
• Students must have received appropriate marks in their Bachelor of Architecture program.
• A portfolio of the candidate's work and job experience will also be evaluated as an eligibility requirement.
• A written test will be administered together with personal interview.
• Candidates with GATE/CEED will be preferred.

Steps to Apply for an M.Arch Course

Univrsity welcomes offline applications. Students can get the application form from the institute's website.

Application process: 

• Students can get the application form from the institute's website.
• Click on the "Admissions 2021" heading.
• Select "Application form for PG".
• The application form will be displayed on the screen.
• Students can download the form by selecting the download option in the upper right corner.
• Students can now complete the form by providing all of the relevant information.
• Finally, students can submit the form by mailing it to the institute admissions office or visiting the institute in person.
• The subsequent admission procedure will be carried out entirely on the institute campus.

The M.Plan program is offered in 5 specialisations at the university in Delhi. The courses are full-time, lasting 2 years.
