The University of Delhi, also known as Delhi University or DU, is public central university located in New Delhi, India. The then-Central Legislative Assembly established it as a unitary, teaching, and residential university in 1922, with 3 colleges and 750 students. Delhi University has developed to become one of India's major institutions, with 16 faculties, more than 80 academic departments, 91 associated colleges, and over 7 lakh students. The UGC recognises DU as a "Institute of Excellence" and the NAAC awards a 'A+' grade.

Admissions at University

Step 4: Seating Allocation
Seat allocation for all courses will be done in several rounds. University will publish merit lists in 2 categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (only for PG courses). All candidates will be considered for the Common Merit List (CML). Only Graduated from delhi university students will be considered for admission to PG programs based on their performance in the qualifying test.
Step 5: Seat Blocking and Final Admission.
Candidates can verify the merit list by logging into their CSAS dashboard for accept the allocated seat. Once a seat has been allotted in specific round, the applicant must 'Accept' the allotted Seat before due date/time provided for that allotment round.

Scholarships for Students
The university offers financial supports to deserving and financially disadvantaged students. University, scholarships are provided in the form of fee exemptions, prizes, monthly/annual stipends, one-time awards, and so on. The scholarship amount at University ranges from INR 100 per month to INR 25,000 one-time.
