Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) is a public university in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. BAOU, founded in 1994, is UGC-approved and affiliated with COL, ICDE, AAOU, NCTE, and other organizations. The NAAC has also rated the university A++.

 More than 100,000 students attend BAOU's remote learning courses, which include UG, PG, diploma, certificate, and Ph.D. programs. • Library:    The Vivekananda Library is BAOU's most useful information centre, having a collection of around 64082 books. The Central Library have the academic management, support personnel, and students of BAOU.2
