National Forensic Sciences institution (NFSU), established in 2008, is a governmental institution in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The University provides instruction through three institutes: the Institute of Forensic Sciences, the Institute of Behavioural Sciences, and the Institute of Research and Development. NFSU's institutes provide various traditional and online courses. The Institute of Forensic Sciences offers online certificate courses. The other 2 institutes mostly provide regular courses.
The NFSU's curricula primarily comprise M.Sc, MS, Integrated MS, M.Phil, Ph.D., PG Diploma, and MBA programmes. Along with these core courses, the University also provides M.Tech in specific specialisations, Post Basic Diploma, Professional Diploma, and M.Pharm programs.

University offers M.Sc. programs in various fields. All three GFSU institutes provide several Master of Science programmes in their respective specialities. The course intake capacity varies depending on the specialism chosen. The University has not defined an intake capacity for certain of its Behavioural Sciences M.Sc. degrees. The programmes require a Bachelor's degree with at least 50%-55% marks.
For admission to any institute's M.Sc. program, candidates must pass the University's entrance exams. Each institute will have its own entrance exam, and applicants must apply for each one separately. Applicants must submit the completed application form for the appropriate institute and pay the application fee. During the counselling session, an interview will take place after the admission test.

Admissions 2024 to MBA
The NFSU MBA Finance program specialises in Forensic Accounting. This particular programme is run by the Institute of Forensic Science. The programme's average intake capacity is 40 seats, including all reservations. To be deemed eligible, the candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree with at least 55%.
For admission to the MBA Finance program, candidates must pass the University's entrance examination. After passing the entrance exam, the candidate will be invited for an interview. The University will select candidates based on their interview scores.

Admission 2024 to PG Diploma
University PG Diploma courses are 1-year long. This programme is only available at the Institute of Forensic Sciences and the Institute of Behavioural Sciences. The Institute of Forensic Sciences' overall admission capacity is approximately 35 seats. While the Behavioural Sciences Institute has 20 seats total.
For IFS PG Diploma courses, candidates must be graduates in a related subject with minimum 50% marks. The candidate must also pass an admission exam administered by the university before being invited to an interview.
For PG Diploma courses offered by IBS, candidates must have an M.A. / M.Sc. in Psychology or an M.Psy in Clinical Psychology. Admission to the programme will be based on both graduation and interview scores.

Admissions 2024 to M.Phil & Ph.D.
The Institute of Behavioural Sciences offers the NFSU M.Phil programme. The entire intake capacity of the programme is determined by each particular M.Phil programme. To be considered eligible, candidates must have completed an M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology with minimum 55% marks.
For admission to the M.Phil programme, the candidate must pass the University's entrance examination. To be admitted to the course, the qualified candidate must additionally participate in an interview.
The Institute of Research and Development offers the GFSU Ph.D. curriculum. The University does not provide the entire intake capacity for the Ph.D. programme. Though the candidate must have minimum required qualification to apply for the program, admission will only be based on the entrance examination offered by the university.
