Indus University was founded in 2006 as the Indus Institute of Engineering and Technology and is now one of the country's leading universities. It was given university status in 2012. The University's 8 constituent institutes provide UG, graduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management, Design, Commerce, and Computer Applications. • Admission to the B.Tech program is dependent on obtaining a valid score in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) or JEE Main.

Admissions 2024 to B.Sc, B.Com, BBA & MBA (Int.)

Admission 2024 to M.Tech, MBA, MCA & M.Sc

University provides postgraduate courses in various specialisations, including M.Tech, MBA, MCA (Regular+ Lateral), and M.Sc. BE/B.Tech in the appropriate discipline is the minimum qualifying criterion for the M.Tech program, although graduation in the linked topic is required for all other courses.

GATE scores are required for admission to the M.Tech program. The MBA program requires a valid score on the CAT/MAT/CMAT or IUMAT, followed by GD and PI. MCA admission is entirely merit-based, but M.Sc admission is determined by a separate entrance exam conduct by the institution.

Admission 2024 to Ph.D. Program

The university also provides Ph.D. courses in various fields in both full-time and part-time settings. Candidates must have a valid Master's degree with at least 55% (50% for restricted categories) .

Final admission to the Ph.D. (Full-Time and Part-Time) course is based on candidates' performance in the IURAT, an interview, and a presentation and appraisal of previous academic and research records. Candidates who have passed UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/GATE or hold an M.Phil degree are excused from IURAT, however they must attend the university's interview.

Admission to the Ph.D. program is granted only following a thorough screening procedure.

• IURAT is 1-hour paper with multiple-choice questions. It contains parts on general thinking and subject-specific knowledge.
• A personal interview is subsequently done, which includes a 10-minute micro-presentation segment. This phase assesses candidates' capacity for research.
