Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya UG, PG Admission 2024: Form Last Date,Fees, Eligibility

In May 2007, the Gujarat State Government passed "Act 21" to create the Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV) University. It provides UG, PG, B.Ed, M.Phil, and Ph.D. programs in various fields, including arts, science, business, and computer applications.

Additionally, students who desire to explore a career in nursing can enrol in 2-year degree in Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or M.Sc Nursing, depending on their eligibility. Admission to all courses is based on merit, with the exception of M.Phil and Ph.D programs, which require students to take university-conducted entrance exam followed by an interview.

The candidates can get admission form directly from the University or download it from the college website. The final year students of the qualified exam are also eligible to apply but they must produce the documents during admission.

Admissions 2024 to B.Ed. Program

The university offers 2 years B.Ed course in 11 different specialisation subjects. Admission to the B.Ed. course is given according to the merit calculated on the basis of mark secured in the qualifying exam.

Key Points:

• 49% total seats are reserved for OPEN, SC, ST and SEBC candidates in the order 7%, 15% and 27% respectively out of which 3% seats are included for handicapped students
• Candidates having 40% - 60% handicapness will only be considered in merit for admission under the handicapped category
• 1% seat is a allocated to blind students which is included in the above mentioned 3% seats for physically challenged candidates
• If any seat of reservation category remains vacant, it would be converted in ‘open’ category and admission would be given on merit basis
• 5% marks relaxation is applicable for S.C./ S.T./ S.E.B.C graduates who are looking forward to pursue B.Ed course

Admissions 2024 to PG Program

The university offers 2 years PG courses in Arts, Commerce and Science Stream under various specialization.

The candidates who want to Science stream can select from 7 different specialisations - Information technology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics and Nursing. Admission to all the PG courses are done on the merit basis of marks obtained at UG level.

Admission 2024 to  M.Phil/Ph.D. Program

The institution also provides M.Phil courses in 4 distinct specialisations: computer science, education, English, and physical education.

In addition to the M.Phil. courses, the Ph.D. program is offered in 17 distinct study areas. All Ph.D. courses last 3 years, with the exception of Pharmacy and Engineering and Technology, which last 4 years.

For admission to both M.Phil and Ph.D. programs, students must take an entrance exam administered by KSV, with minimum passing score of 50%. Candidates who pass the entrance exam and selected based on merit must attend an interview conducted by Subject Experts (RDC) before being admitted.

• The following applicants who fulfil the criteria listed below are exempt from the Ph.D. admission test:

• Qualified in SET/NET/JRF conducted by bodies such as CSIR, UGC, and others in related areas would be excused from the entrance exam, subject to verification of appropriate certificates and other documentation.
• M.Phil. degree from KSV.
• M.Phil. degree applicants from another legal university who were admitted after an entrance test.
• Candidate who appeared in the most recent GATE and achieved better than 75%.
  Admission for Foreign Students:
• Foreign candidates recommended by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, shall be considered for admission. Foreign citizens must provide a valid research visa when applying for admission to the Ph.D program.

• Candidates can receive an application form for courses from the institute for Rs. 200/- or download it online by clicking here. The application form for M.Sc Nursing and P.B.B.Sc is Rs. 500/-.
• Students who have downloaded the online application form must submit demand draft made payable to "KADI SARVA VISHWAVIDYALAYA" in Gandhinagar.
• Candidates who get forms directly from the university must submit the form to the University office or Narsinhbhai Institute of Computer Studies & Management, S V Campus, KADI by the prescribed date.
