Navsari Agricultural University (NAU) is based in Navsari, Gujarat. It teaches agricultural and associated sciences at UG, PG, and research levels. UGC recognises the institution, established in 2004.

Several colleges have been formed under university to provide degree and diploma programs in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, and Veterinary Sciences. UG studies include B.Tech, B.Sc (H) in various specialisations, and Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry. Following graduation, the University provides degrees in MBA in Agribusiness Management, M.Tech, M.Sc, MV.Sc, and Ph.D.

• Candidates for UG studies must have completed the Class 12th in the Science stream and have GUJCET/JEE scores.

Admission 2024 to UG Program

At UG level, the university provides various agricultural and related scientific courses. Candidates may attend 4-year B.Tech degree in 7 specialisations, an honours degree in Allied Sciences with 8 specialisations, or a Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences.

Admission is strictly dependent on the candidate's class 12th and GUJCET/JEE (Main) grades. The university presents the merit list, which includes the candidates' names and the colleges to which they are assigned. Candidates must then report for admission to the designated college within the specified time frame.

• When setting the merit cut-off, candidates' marks in theoretical exams (PCB/PCM) are given 60% weightage, followed by GUJCET/JEE Main scores at 40%.

• Candidates from Gujarat account for 85% admissions, while the remaining 15% come from other states.
• Other states' applicants must apply through the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

Admissions 2024 to PG and Ph.D.

University provides instruction in agriculture and allied sciences up to Ph.D. level. University provides Master's degrees in Science, Technology, Veterinary Science, and an MBA in Agribusiness Management. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying exams and their PG entrance scores. Candidates seeking for an MBA in Agribusiness Management must also go through a separate admissions process at the APSEE Agribusiness Management Institute. MBA admissions are based on an entrance test, a personal interview, and a group discussion.

Key Admission Points:

• If a candidate desires to apply for multiple faculties, must submit separate applications.
• The merit list for PG courses will be constructed using the marks acquired in the Entrance test and the marks obtained at the graduation level, with each given 50% weightage.
• 25% seats are allocated for applicants recommended by ICAR on the basis of the All India Entrance Test, subject to meeting the minimum eligibility requirements.

Application Procedure 2024 at University

The application form for both UG and PG degrees should be filled out online in the correct format on GSAUCA's official website.

• For UG courses, the application form fees INR 500 and must be deposited in the form of HDFC Bank Challans.
• For PG programs, the application fee is INR 1000, which must be deposited as an HDFC Bank Challan or through an online transaction.
• A physical copy of the completed form together with the appropriate documentation should be delivered to the Registrar, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, by hand or post within the time frame specified.
• The MBA information booklet and application form can be obtained from the Institute after the official admissions announcement by paying INR 1000 in cash or by sending a demand draft of INR 1100 by post in favour of "Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) ASPEE Agri. Mgmt. Inst." payable at Navsari.

Reservation: The University makes reservations in accordance with government guidelines under the 85% state quota, which is as follows: SC - 7%, ST - 15%, SEBC - 27%, PWD - 3%, and Ex S - 1%.
