India's first internal security institute, was established in 2009 by the Gujarat government in Ahmedabad by 'The Raksha Shakti University Act, 2009'. UG studies at University include B.A. and B.Tech programs. At PG level, it provides MA, LL.M., M.Sc., and M.Tech programs in various specialisations. Admission 2024 to BA and B.Tech

The University offers number of PG degrees, including an M.A. in Criminology, an MA in Police Administration, an L.L.M in Crime and Security Laws, an M.Sc. in Forensic Science, and an M.Tech. in Cybersecurity. To apply, for graduation degree in MA, an LL.B degree for LL.M, a graduation in science stream for M.Sc., and B.Tech/B.E. degree with at least 50% marks in a computer-related field for M.Tech.

Admission 2024 to M.Phil and Ph.D.
University offers several research programs viz. M.Phil in Criminology, Police administration and Ph.D. in Law, Criminology, Psychology, Cyber security, Internal Security Management. Students must have a Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks and 50% marks for backward class students.

Application Procedure 2024 at University
The admission procedure of university is both offline and online.Candidates can get the application form either from the university or can download it from the university’s website by paying fee. Eligible candidates have to follow the subsequent steps to apply to the university:

3. Get a DD of the respective amount made, in the name of “Registrar, Rashtriya Raksha University, payable at university and send it along with the application form.

Option 2
A candidate can get the application form by post also by sending a DD of the relevant amount, payable in the name of “Registrar, Rashtriya Raksha University,” payable at Ahmedabad, along with a self-address envelop of size 11”X5” with a postal stamp of INR 5.

Reservations Policy 2024
1. All the SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be given 5% relaxation marks in all the subjects.
2. Relaxation to female candidates, National level participants in sports, athletes played at state level and holders of NCC certificates is 5%, 5%, 3% and 7% respectively in marks.
3. Extra 5% marks will be deducted for students who have cleared the qualifying exams in more than one attempt.
4. 50% fees will be reduced for the girl candidates, under most of the courses.
