Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University (SDAU) is a State Agricultural University in India that opened in 1972. The institution is affiliated with the institution Grants Commission of India (UGC India), a statutory agency established by the Indian Union government. The institution offers various agricultural-related courses at UG, graduate, and doctoral levels to its students.

Applicants for B.Sc, B.V.Sc.A.H, and B.Tech programs will be shortlisted based on a merit list prepared with 60% marks for Theory Papers (PCB / PCM) and 40% marks obtained in the GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test), or candidates can appear in JEE (Joint Engineering Entrance) for the relevant courses. Admission 2024 to UG Program

University (SDAU) offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), and Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.A.H.) programs at UG level with various specialisations.

B.Sc. and B.Tech programs last 4 years each, while the B.V.Sc.A.H degree lasts 5 years. Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths (PCBM) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English are eligible for admission to the relevant courses.

Admission 2024 to PG Program

The institution offers 2 PG programmes: Master of Science (M.Sc) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). The M.Sc programme lasts 2 years, whereas the MBA programme lasts 2 years. The M.Sc program offers various specialisations for individuals to admission to the relevant courses.

For admission in the M.Sc course must have a degree in B.Sc. Agriculture with 60% to fulfil the course's qualifying requirements. To be eligible for admission to the MBA program, candidates must have Bachelor's degree in agriculture or associated sciences.

Note: Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category are offered 5% mark relaxation while satisfying the qualifying criteria for the M.Com(P) course in accordance with the institute's norms.

Admission 2024 to Ph.D. Program

At the Doctoral level, the institution offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programmes in various specialisations, allowing applicants to explore their research interests in an extensive variety of areas. Application Process 2024

• Candidates wanting an online application procedure are recommended to visit the website.
• Read the form completely and fill it accurately
• After filling out the form, applicants must submit it.
• The processing fees for SEBC candidates are 1000 /-, whereas S.C./S.T. candidates from Gujarat State pay 500 / -.
• Educational credentials, experience, age, and other information should be collected from the website.
• The application should be filed online through the website, following which the processing fees should be paid using internet banking. The candidate pays the processing fees only using the Collect payment service online.
• After paying the processing fees, the form can be filled out online the following working day after 14:00 hours.
• The physical copy of the application, accompanied by verified copies of certificates about credentials, experience, and so on, should be sent to the Registrar, University, Sardarkrushinagar -385 506 (Gujarat). The University maintains the right not to fill all or some positions if deemed necessary.
• The reserved seats are only for applicants of Gujarat state origin; hence, individuals from other states are not eligible to apply.
• If there are no female applicants available, the reserved position will be filled by a male candidate from the same category.
• A relaxation of up to 5 years in the maximum age restriction is permitted for female candidates.
• The upper age restriction shall be relaxed by up to 5 years for male applicants and 10 years for female candidates from reserved categories, with maximum limit of 45 years as defined by the Gujarat State Government.
• The SEBC applicant must provide the current fiscal year's "Non Creamy Layer Certificate" in the appropriate proforma with the application form; otherwise, the candidate would be ineligible for the reserved category benefits.
