The university's 94 government, 49 grant-in-aid, 190 self-financed, and 104 PG centres provide various UG, graduate, M.Phil., Ph.D., and diploma programs. University (VNSGU) also provides MBBS, BHMS, MD, MS, B.Sc (Nursing), BPT, MPT, M.Sc (Nursing), and MOT programs in various fields through its affiliated institutes.

Admission 2024 to MBBS & BHMS Programs

University provides MBBS and BHMS programs for 5.5 years, including a year alternating internship. Admission to MBBS is dependent on the scores obtained in the CBSE-conducted National Eligibility and Entrance Test, or NEET. The admition to the BHMS program depends only on merit.

Admission 2024 to B.Optom, BPT & B.Sc (Nursing) Programs

University has connected colleges that provide B.Optom, BPT, and B.Sc (Nursing) programs. Candidates must pass 12th level or equivalent test. Candidates with previous work experience and a Diploma in General Nursing will be given preference for the Post Basic B.Sc (N) program. Admission is granted on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the university.

Admission 2024 to UG Programs:  BA, B.Sc, BPA, B.Lib, BFA, B.Ed, LL.B & B.Arch

At UG level, university provides BA, B.Sc, BPA, B.Lib, and B.Ed programs in various specialisations. The institution ragister students to BFA and BID programs using the Fine Arts Admission Test and Interior Design Test, respectively. Other courses are selected based on 12th or Graduation degree scores, followed by counselling.

Admissions 2024 to PG Programs: MBA, MA, MRS, MPA, M.Sc & LL.M

The university provides MA, M.Sc, LL.M, MPA, LL.M, and MRS programs in various areas at PG level. The minimum need is a passing Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject.

Admission to any Department of Human Resource courses will be based on merit, as determined by an admission exam. The admissions test is based on entrance exams such as the GRE and GMAT.

Apart from courses pertaining to the HR Department, admission to the remaining PG programs is based on an entrance exam followed by an interview.

Admissions 2024 to MPT, MOT & M.Sc (Nursing) 

In addition to the MD and MS programs, university provides MPT, MOT, and M.Sc (Nursing) in several streams at PG level for 2-year period.

Students holding a B.Sc degree are eligible to apply. Admission is given on the basis of an entrance exam followed by a personal interview.

Admission 2024 to M.Phil and Ph.D.  Program

The University provides M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs in various specialisations. Admission is based on a written test and a viva-voce conducted by the university. The minimum eligibility requirement is having Master's degree.

Key points:

• Candidates with JRF/NET/SLET/GSLET/GATE scores or M.Phil degrees will be allowed for the Ph.D. admission exam.
• To be accepted to the M.Phil/Ph.D. program, candidates must score at least 50% (45% for restricted categories) on the entrance exam.
• The test will consist of two-mark multiple-choice questions. Each incorrect answer will result in a 0.25-mark deduction.
• Students who obtained their PG degrees at any recognised university's off-campus centres will be ineligible for admission.

M.Phil and Ph.D. Application Process: Candidates may apply online by visiting South Gujarat University's official website.
