National Brain Research Centre Admissions 2024-25

The National Brain Research Centre is a neuroscience research organisation located in Manesar, Gurgaon district, Haryana, India. It is an autonomous government institute with believed university status that serves as a nodal centre for the Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The college provides PG and research-level courses. The courses available include Master of Science (M.Sc) and Ph.D. in Neuroscience. Candidates who wish to enrol in the abovementioned courses may do so.

University conducts M.Sc admissions. Candidates for Ph.D. admittance must take the JGEEBILS and JEST tests. Candidates must also appear in personal interview conducted by the college.

Admission 2024 to M.Sc Program

At PG level, National Brain Research centre (NBRC) offers Master of Science (M.Sc) in Neuroscience to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Medical Science. The course is offered for 2 years and various seats available for admission is specific.

Admission will be based on the marks scored in Joint Graduate Entrance Exam for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS). Candidates will be short-listed for 2-tier interview based on their performance in the JGEEBILS exam.

Admission 2024 to Ph.D.

At Research level, National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) offers Ph.D course in Neuroscience to the students who want to make a career in the field of Medical science. Duration period and intake capacity for Ph.D is specific.

The admission process is done through Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS). Eligible candidates can also appear in Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST). Candidates who qualified in GATE-2016 in these subjects are also eligible to apply. Candidates will be short-listed for 2-tier interview based on their performance in the above qualifying examinations.

  • Online candidates should pay the application fees using 'SB-Collect'.
  • Candidates wishing to apply offline must get an application form from the NBRC. To acquire the application form, submit a self-addressed A-4 size envelope to Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122051 District Gurgaon (Haryana).
  • Offline applicants can submit the application fee by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, National brain Research Centre payable at Gurgaon or Manesar. Send the Demand Draft and complete application form to Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122051 Dist. Gurgaon (Haryana)
