NIILM institution is a private institution in Kaithal, Haryana, India. NIILM University was founded by the Haryana State Legislature under Haryana Act No. 16 of 2011.

University provides multidisciplinary educational courses at UG, PG, and doctorate levels. It offers courses in  various areas, including engineering and technology, science, commerce, business administration, computer applications, and law.

Admission to UG, PG, and doctorate level courses is determined by a merit-based entrance exam followed by a personal interview. The candidates' performance in the entrance exam and interview is combined to determine their selection in that particular course. The whole admissions process is handled by the institution. Haryana-based students would be given precedence in admission.

Admission 2024 to B.Tech Program

At UG level, University provides B.Tech programmes in various specialisations to students interested in pursuing a career in engineering. B.Tech courses last 4 years.

For admission to the B.Tech courses, students must first pass the qualifying test, which is 12th with PCM/PCB.

Admission to B.Tech degrees is based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE main), followed by an Entrance Test through Personal Interview. For JEE registration, aspirants need to visit the website.

Admission 2024 to BA.LLB and LLB Program

The institution offers 5-year BA.LLB course. In addition, university offers 3-year UG degree course known as the Bachelor of Law (LLB).

Admission 2024 to B.Sc and M.Sc Program

The institution provides various science courses at both the UG and graduate levels, with several specialisations. The B.Sc degree lasts 3  years, whilst the M.Sc program takes 2 years.

Applicants for admission to the B.Sc program must have 12th, while applicants for admission to the M.Sc courses must have completed degree in the appropriate stream.

Admission to the B.Sc and M.Sc courses based on their qualifying exam scores, an entrance exam, and personal counselling.

Admission 2024 to B.Com, BBA and M.Com Program

The institution provides various courses in Commerce and Business Administration at both UG and graduate levels. All of these courses last 3 years, with the exception of M.Com, which lasts two.

For admission to UG courses such as B.Com and BBA based on their qualifying exam scores, an entrance exam, and personal counselling.

Candidate for admission to the M.Com program must be graduate in a related subject, such as B.Com or BBA. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the admission exam, which is followed by a personal interview.

Admission 2024 to MBA and MCA Program

The institution also offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) programs to students interested in pursuing a career in company management or computer applications. The MBA programme lasts 2 years, whereas the MCA programme lasts 3 years.

A merit list is generated for admission to the MBA program based on performance in all state/national level exams such as the CAT, MAT, and XAT. Then, candidates are selected through an Entrance Exam and Personal Interview.

Candidates for admission to the MCA programme must have completed their degree in the appropriate subject. Admission to the MCA programme is granted to interested applicants based on their performance in the pre-qualifying test (BCA/M.Sc), which is followed by an Entrance Test and a personal interview.

Admission 2024 to M.Phil and Ph.D. Program

Students who want to get further education and do research in their selected field can take advantage of the university's Ph.D. program. Students may select full-time, part-time, or off-campus options.

A candidate who obtained Master's Degree or equivalent from a UGC/AICTE recognised institution with at least 55% (50% for SC/ST and differently abled candidates) in aggregate or equivalent grade.

Candidates for Ph.D. programs will be selected based on their performance in the Entrance Test, Interview, and Qualifying Exams. The institution will decide on the final cutoff marks before declaring the results. 

1.  Research Scholars who meet one of the following qualifications will be excused from the Entrance Exam:

• Candidates who have cleared U.G.C/CSIR (JRF) Examination/NET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship holder/M.Phil degree holder and have already appeared for Entrance Test
• Those who have passed M.E./M.Tech from the statutory universities.
• Teachers with 5 years of regular (unconditional approval) teaching experience at U.G./P.G. level. Research Scholars/Senior Citizens with remarkable talents who have completed a Graduate Degree Exam with 55% marks and 15 years of experience in a related subject. (subject to the Vice-Chancellor's decision).
• Candidates are selected (with the exception of those who do not take the entrance exam) based on their performance in the interview and the results of any qualifying exam.
