AP Goyal Shimla University UG, PG Admission 2024: Form Last Date,Fees, Eligibility

The University in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, was founded in 2002. University provides UG and PG studies in engineering, management, arts, journalism and mass communication, hotel management and hospitality, and law.

• Application forms for UG and graduate programs are submitted both online and offline.
• For admission to UG courses, candidates must have completed their HSC, and for PG courses, they must have graduated in the relevant subject.
• To get B.Tech degree, you must first pass the JEE Main exam.
  Candidates applying for the M. Tech and MBA programs must have valid GATE and CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT entrance test scores, respectively.
• Selection to other courses is also dependent on candidates' achievement in the relevant qualifying exams for each course.
• 10% course's seats are designated for qualifying Himachal Pradesh Below Poverty Line (BPL) students, who get a full scholarship.

Admission 2024 to B.Tech and BCA Program

Aspirants at university may apply for B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. The minimum requirement for admission to B.Tech courses is to have completed HSC with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects.

Candidates considering admission to B.Tech courses must take the JEE Mains entrance test.

Note: Direct admission based on qualifying exam is also given.

Admission 2024 to UG Program

At UG level, the university provides B.Sc Fashion Design, Bachelor of Hotel Management, BBA and B.Com, BA in English and Journalism and Mass Communication, combined BA-LLB, and B.Pharma programs. The minimum requirement for all UG courses is that the candidate have 12th from recognised college. The selection of eligible applicants is based on their achievement in the qualifying test.

Admission 2024 to M.Tech and MBA Program

The university provides M.Tech courses in 4 disciplines as well as PG MBA program. The minimal requirement for admission to an MBA course is degree in any subject. Applicants to M.Tech programs must have B.Tech in the applicable subject.

Candidates for admission to M.Tech courses must have valid GATE score. A candidate seeking for MBA should have passed any of the following exams: CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, or University. Selection to MBA programs is also dependent on merit, which includes the candidate's graduation grades, GD, and interview.

Admission 2024 to M.Sc, M.Com, MHM, MA, LLM Program

The university also provides LLM, M.Sc courses in 4 fields, MHM, and MA in Journalism and Mass Communication. Applicants for admission to the M.Sc course must have B.Sc in the applicable subject. LLM candidates should hold an LLB degree. MHM and MA programs require at least bachelor's degree in any area. Selection to all these courses is dependent on the results of the qualifying test.

Admission 2024 to Ph.D. Program

The university also provides doctoral programs in various disciplines. Admission will be based on an entrance exam/interview given by the university. For admission, candidates must Master's degree in a related subject.

 Application Process 2024

Candidates seeking admission to any UG or PG course can fill out an application form online or offline. To fill out the application form, candidates can follow the procedures listed below.

Online:

• Visit the university's official website.
• Click the "Apply for 2024 Admission" link.
• Fill out the enquiry and registration form.
• After completing out the inquiry form, the applicant will get a verification link to the email address provided.
• Window will open where you can fill out the application form.
• Fill out the application form and submit any required documents, such as mark sheets, photographs, signatures, etc.
• Make a payment of INR 2100 as application fee.
• Finally, register for the course and pay the INR 10,000 course fees (which will be adjusted later).

Offline:

• Go to the website, there is link to the Application Form 2024.
• Click on "Application Form 2024".
• Fill out the application form with a blue/black ball point pen.
• Prepare a demand draft for INR 1,000 as an application fee. A DD should be given in favour of A P Goyal Shimla University.
• Attach the following documents to your application form and return it to the University on or before July 31, 2024.
