Bahra institution is a multi-disciplinary institution in Waknaghat, Solan district, Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by the breathtaking Shimla highlands. The University was founded in 2011 by the Rayat Bahra Group and is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Bar Council of India (BCI), and the Pharmacy Council of India.
University provides UG, PG, and doctoral programs in engineering, management, computer applications, law, pharmacy, hospitality and tourism, journalism, basic sciences, and physiotherapy.
B. Tech. admission is based on JEE Main/HPCET scores. HPCET scores are used to select students for B. Pharmacy programs.
The fundamental eligibility conditions for the other UG courses are that aspirants have 12th in the appropriate discipline with at least 50% marks, but for PG courses, applicants must have a graduate degree. Candidates for M.Tech, MCA, MBA, and M.Pharm. programs must have a valid HPCET score. Some courses use an entrance exam as selection criteria.
