Admission 2024 to College of Horticulture 

The College of Horticulture, Solan campus, provides UG, PG, and research degree programs in various horticulture and forestry fields. The institute now offers eight M.Sc. programs, seven Ph.D. programs, a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Horticulture, and 2 master's degree courses in management and agribusiness.

UG Programs

  • ICAR National Talent Scholarship: INR 1000 per month.
  • College Merit Scholarship of INR 1000 per month (10% of enrolment).
  • The government of India provides stipends to scheduled castes/tribes and low-income groups through the State Education Department. The stipend is comparable to the tuition and other fees
  • Mrs Kanti Devi Awasthi Memorial Merit Scholarship of IMR 500/- per month is available to one female student pursuing B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture degree at the College of Horticulture in Solan.
  • Dr. OP Awasthi Memorial Merit Scholarship of IMR 500/- per month for one boy student pursuing B Sc (Hons) Horticulture at the College of Horticulture in Solan (Nauni).
  • HP Scheduled Castes and Tribes Development Corporation offers interest-free loans to SC/ST students.
  • District Soldier Board stipend (amount varies). viii) Students from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Persons with Disability categories who are eligible for UGC scholarships must submit scholarship forms for the academic year by February of each year.

PG Programs:

  • University Merit Scholarship (one in each discipline): INR 3000 per month.
