Maharishi Markandeshwar (MMDU), a deemed university established in 2009 and located in Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

University provides B.Tech (Regular and Lateral), B.Sc (Medical), B.Sc (Nursing), BPT, BOT, and MBBS courses in various fields at UG level.

students who have 12th with 5 courses with English as one of the essential subjects with minimum 45% marks (40% for ST/SC students) in Physics, Mathematics, and one of these subjects, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biology, taken together, are deemed eligible for B.Tech admission.

Applicants to the B.Tech LTE program must have Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc in any stream and at least 45% marks (40% for the restricted category). The minimum qualifying criterion for the BBA course is 12th with 5 courses, one of which is English.

Applicants who have 12th with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST applicants) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English are eligible to apply for admission to MBBS, B.Sc (Nursing)/B.Sc (Medical), BPT, and BOT courses.

B.Tech admissions are based on JEE Main scores. The university conducts a separate admission exam for B.Sc (Nursing). MBBS admission requires a verified NEET UG score.

Admission 2024 to M.Tech and M.Sc Programs

For BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/ Computer Technology/ Information Technology/ Electronics and Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) or an M.Sc in Computer Science/ Electronics/ IT/ Maths/ Software Engineering/ Physics/ Statistics or an MCA are eligible for admission to the M.Tech program.

Similarly, applicants for M.Sc admission must have B.Sc degree in Chemistry with at least 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) from a recognised university. M.Tech admission requires a GATE score, but M.Sc entrance is entirely based on merit.

Admission 2024 to MD, MS, M.Sc (Medical) & M.Sc (Nursing)

At the graduate level, University provides MD, MS, M.Sc (Medical), and M.Sc (Nursing) programs in various areas. MD and MS courses require at least an MBBS degree from a recognised institute. M.Sc (Medical) admission is entirely merit-based, but MD and MS admission requires a valid NEET PG score.
